The common areas were freezing cold. They used outdoor propane heaters in the dining room which is very dangerous and ineffective.
The beef which I ordered medium was almost raw. The cook could be heard screaming in the kitchen which made me not want to bother sending it back.
They undercharged us and then called our next hotel to ask them to tell us we owed them money instead of reaching out to us. It was their error and of course we paid the balance due but they implied that we skipped out which was awkward.

You can tell that this was once a fine hotel. The staff were very friendly. The food in the restaurant was great although breakfast was a little sparse. The beds were quite firm but comfortable. The shower was over the bath and there was heating but no air conditioning. It was noisy from early in the morning as breakfast started at 5. Take ear plugs. Well located near the town square.

We prepaid and then they demanded that we pay them again at the end of our stay. It was too early in the morning to fight and we were running late for our flight from Julliaca. The desk person was worthless. We will have to notify Travelocity about the problem and get a refund. Good location, but there are better.

The hotel rooms are poorly designed and small. Our room faced the street and was noisy. Pillows & bed very uncomfortable. No space in bathroom to put your toiletries. We had a ripped shower curtain and only lukewarm water in the shower. It is definitely NOT 4 stars.

This is an old hotel that provides the basics. Spacious room but there is only a small space heater and it is 28 degrees at night. The room is clean, the beds are pretty hard. Breakfast is average and there is enough choices for most people. The best thing is that this hotel is located 1/2 block from the city plaza square where there is everything you could want.
