I really don't like it. The environment is OK, but it's in a place with nothing. So you have to eat in the hotel. The food is bad and expensive. The facilities are also average. I went there for the swimming pool, but it was under renovation. It's far from the attractions. It's inconvenient to take a taxi and it's expensive.

One of my two favorite hotels in Egypt! Although I only stayed for one night, the experience was great! ! ! It can be clearly seen that the entire hotel pays great attention to details, the environment is superb, there is the hotel's own organic plantation behind, and the breakfast is also rich and varied! The only disadvantage is that the location is relatively remote and it is difficult to call a taxi.

We are absolutely loving our stay at Al Moudira, stunning property and grounds with the best and most friendly service we have experienced during our whole time in Egypt. Food is excellent in all restaurants and our guided tours of this amazing city (organised by the hotel) just perfect. Love the tranquility of the place away from the tourist hoardes, a calming oasis. We will be back!

I'd have to say, the Al Moudira is the most perfect hotel I've ever stayed in. Simply exquisite. Everywhere you look there amazing antiques and classic Arabic style details. Our room was lovely and so spacious with the most comfy canopied king size bed. The grounds are composed of endless paths weaving through beautifully planted gardens with a farm in the back where they grow the food served in their restaurants. We had great meals at all of their in their various dining options. I loved the location, on the west bank, well off the beaten path. Some might be concerned it is remote from Luxor city, but the tranquility was exactly what we wanted. All of the staff were exceptionally attentive --accommodating our early morning tour departures, providing a luxurious soft mattress topper when I happen to mention that the bed was a bit firm for me, and more. I'll admit that staying at the Al Moudira was a bit of a splurge for us but it was 100% worth it. I wish I could have stayed forever.

Great hotel where you feel you are miles away from home . Very individual .food was amazing in every way especially the Egyptian meals . Service was very attentive . Beautiful setting and a lovely pool , interesting rooms and decor .. great breakfast .. couldn’t fault it .. a very very special place we loved it so much
