Al Moudira Hotel

I'd have to say, the Al Moudira is the most perfect hotel I've ever stayed in. Simply exquisite. Everywhere you look there amazing antiques and classic Arabic style details. Our room was lovely and so spacious with the most comfy canopied king size bed. The grounds are composed of endless paths weaving through beautifully planted gardens with a farm in the back where they grow the food served in their restaurants. We had great meals at all of their in their various dining options. I loved the location, on the west bank, well off the beaten path. Some might be concerned it is remote from Luxor city, but the tranquility was exactly what we wanted. All of the staff were exceptionally attentive --accommodating our early morning tour departures, providing a luxurious soft mattress topper when I happen to mention that the bed was a bit firm for me, and more. I'll admit that staying at the Al Moudira was a bit of a splurge for us but it was 100% worth it. I wish I could have stayed forever.

Staying at Al Moudira was a truly enchanting experience – everything was perfect from the moment I arrived. The dinner was exceptional: rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and infused with local character. Whether dining in the courtyard or under the stars, every meal felt like a celebration of Egyptian and Mediterranean cuisine. The staff were warm, gracious, and incredibly attentive. Their hospitality felt sincere and effortless, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere throughout the stay. The location on the West Bank of Luxor is serene and inspiring – a peaceful retreat away from the crowds, yet still within easy reach of the ancient sites. The architecture and gardens add to the dreamlike, timeless ambiance. Al Moudira isn’t just a hotel – it’s a destination. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already dreaming of my return.
