A perfect experience. All staff, and there are many of them, were helpful, friendly and professional. The gardens are a haven for all sorts of wildlife....... you don't expect to see dragonflies in the desert! Food was exceptional, and the vegetarian selection was great. (I believe, from a fellow guest, that the chef will also provide Vegan.). Restaurant overlooks the Red Sea and the lovely infinity pool. The buildings are constructed from local sandstone, that appears to be fossilised reef. It's worth looking closely at the stone work, to view fossils. The night sky is good viewing because, although there is external lighting, it points down so as not to leak upwards. Rooms are very clean, spacious, with comfy beds. There is an extensive library, with lots of historical information. We came primarily for diving, and we were not disappointed, with both shore and boat diving available. The dive centre staff give excellent nightly presentations, in the Library, on the Red Sea and its inhabitants: very informative. A perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing/ active holiday.
