Excellent hotel ,good food, very attentive staff, beautiful bay for snorkeling. Aqua Coraya at 2 minutes, great for the kids (and their parents). Lots of entertainment for kids and adults. very well kept grounds. Plenty of opportunities for physical excercise.

This holiday was our third time in Jaz lamaya, the experience is like no other, since they renovated the hotel in February 2024, a lot of things have changed in a good way, very good wifi ( youtube tv social media no problems at all), pools are very modern with new tiles and the restaurant has been renewed, it always feels like coming back to our family at lamaya. Restaurant; Amazing food every time of the day, fresh and hot food with very good taste, the chefs are always around to ask if everything is good and if there are any complains. The service from the waiters is like no other! Always on point they are fast ,very kind and always in for a talk, special thanks to Tayeb ,Ibrahim and Ayman for there amazing service, and special thanks to Small Mohammed, Youssef and Mostafa for making our holiday a very special one! Pool: Pools are very nice, very modern, the only thing is that the white things were the water falls in next to the pool can break easily, so dont walk on them! Tiles can be very slippery when wet so watch out! Service from bar staff is amazing, they often walk by to ask for a drink. Special thanks to Mohammed Islam and Gaber! Rooms: Very clean, no issues at all in the room,special thanks to Sherif Gamal for providing us a nice room! Animation: Probably not the best thing in egypt, shows are not that good, if they improve the quality of the shows it would be much better, the animation team itself work hard to make it very nice for everybody. Overall: an amazing hotel with amazing aquapark, valhalla for children on a short walk from hotel entrance, a very very good hotel and we will definitely will come back here!

In recent years, we have only chosen Jaz hotels because they provide great service, delicious and varied food. And we are pleased to say that JAZ Lamaya does justice to other JAZ hotels. From the first moment we entered the hotel, we felt its friendly atmosphere and cleanliness. After a fairly quick check-in, we were able to start enjoying the hotel's hospitality. All the hotel staff try to make your stay more pleasant. Starting with bringing a mattress to your sunbed, continuing with drinks directly to the sunbed, everything in the room is cleaned according to your wishes. I really liked the idea of ​​water in glass bottles - it will save a lot of plastic waste. And last but not least, I have to highlight the bar and dining room staff - they are great, pleasant and not intrusive, the bonus is that they remember what you drink in a moment. The food is almost impossible to describe, a large selection of everything. And most importantly, everything tastes great. We miss it already and hope for another visit soon. Very nice location. Very clean room, excellent service. The hotel, swimming pools en terrain are very clean and well maintained. Easy access to the sea front and diving and snorkling pier. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor facilities. There is a good varity in dishes which change daily.

Greatest destination for a fun family adventure or if you hust wish to go with your best friend or solo. The food is amazing and there is no shortage, if you wish for something specific the chefs will prepare it for you. The waiters are super friendly and take their time to learn you preference that you won't need to ask a third time they just bring you your beverage. Entertainment team is great each night they have a wonderfull program for childeren and or adults to enjoy with, they interact with you and during the day there is enough to do when it comes to exercises or just relaxation. The only complaint would be for the SPA area, we booked for a Egyptian massage which is suppose to be 90 minutes with 30 min usage of the steam adn sauna rooms. We went earlier however after the sauna and steam room, they only did 30 min of massage instead of 60 min and they didn't massage the face or head like it was suppose to. Be adviced when you go to the spa just be clear what you want and do not let them tell you what it is suppose to be. Towels in a beach bag is at the ready for you when you enter the room. The rooms are amazing, however the weather is so great that the rooms are just needed for sleep. The bathrooms are amazing, especially the shower I have never felt so eleavated after a shower with such a jet-stream massage your body. The service there is amazing as well, they take their time to inform you about the happenings and layoutt of the buildings and local area. And there is also a taxi service available if you wish to visit Port Ghalib or go on a tour or any other cultural activities in the area. Do note if you wish to visit Luxor from here, it will be a 3-hour drive, so you'll likely lose a whole day with ust travel. Should you wish to take food with you just ask the chef they will provide you with sandwhiches. Outside the hotel you will find shops for souvenirs or swimming gear, mostly or men or childeren, unfortunately no bikini shops or swimwear for women only t-shirts bags or dresses (beach kind). But still the prices are good and the owners are friednly, a little too friendly. Ladies be adviced to only enter the shops when you are with a large group or of you're sure to buy something. There is also a disco area but the animation team will gather with you and guide you there in the bus, if you wish to leave have one accompany you. Safetly is crusicial for them, you are completely safe there. Especially your childeren. You can just leave your stuff at the table, like you purse or beach bag and everything will still be there with everything inside. All in all, despite the bad spa experience, this hotel has earned its 5-star rating and I hope it will earn an even higher rating in the future.
