This hotel is in a beautifully restored old house in the core of the old village. Our room was well equipped with all modern amenities. The host Li Shentao welcomed us with tea and a friendly chat before checking into the room. He helped us to organize a beautiful trip to Da Gu Ling canyon (hiking through a series of waterfalls) about 1 hour drive from Xidi (we can recommend!). We also had a tasty lunch and dinner with local food at the hotel. Overall excellent and friendly service, a very nice place to stay!

We’ve had a wonderful stay in this charming guesthouse. The owner was so helpful and friendly, even though we don’t speak Chinese. The best host we’ve had so far on our trip through China!

This is an accommodation in a hundreds year old An Hui style complex inside the world heritage site Xidi. The room is modernized with flush toilet, air-con and voice controlled lighting. The host was very helpful. Dinner at neighbor’s home cooking style restaurant converted from 300 year old hall was lovely experience. Checking in at sunset and leaving in the morning allowed us to visit the village with minimal tourists.

We felt incredibly fortunate to stay at Danyuan Boutique Inn. The host was very welcoming and took extra care with everything. We had great conversations, and even though we had to use translation apps, we felt like friends after just one day. His wife cooked a wonderful dinner and breakfast for us of local cuisine - it was a unique and authentic experience. This was our favourite place to stay throughout our extensive travel through China! I strongly recommend to everyone: Chinese and international travellers. Thank you!

Difficult to find words. Just an unforgatable memory, even life changing experience. The place is beyond beautiful, but what made the world difference was Lee, the host and friend. Always Grateful.

My husband and I had an amazing stay and the hospitality of the owner is 100/10. The place so beautiful and well designed that kept the old charm of the village. room is spotless clean. I couldn’t find a single thing that I did not like about this place.

非常棒的民宿。整潔，乾淨，審美在線，服務熱情。我們來的日子降温了，老闆提前開了室內地暖，一進屋子裡麪就暖洋洋的。室內不僅乾淨温暖，電吹風是戴森的，洗浴用品是馬油的，床品不僅乾淨也很乾燥，還準備了一次性浴盆罩子，細節做的非常到位。留了非常寬敞的公共空間，一步一景，可以説這裏本身就是美學空間，坐在這喝茶發呆都可以坐一下午。下雨降温，老闆生起了炭爐，外面悽風苦雨，室內圍爐喝茶聊天，這個含金量簡直爆表。餐飲也很贊，早餐豐盛可口就不必説了，我們中餐晚餐也是在這裏讓老闆娘一起安排的，各種特色菜時令菜，乾淨、美味。非常滿意的旅程，完美。
