Qingdao Litian Hotel（May Fourth Square）

Excellent! Super convenient location, right above the subway station. It's close to the beach, and just one stop away from May Fourth Square and MixC Mall. The famous Kaihai restaurant's main branch is also nearby. The room windows are large, offering expansive views whether of the mountains or the sea. The room was clean, and the bathroom had no unpleasant odors. We stayed on the tenth floor, and the cleaning staff (Ayi) were prompt and very friendly and enthusiastic. Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved this hotel! First and foremost, hygiene is my top priority, and this hotel has implemented many thoughtful innovations, such as sealed towels and sofa covers. Second, the service is incredibly warm and welcoming. Each floor has self-service washing machines and microwaves, and you can even borrow fruit knives. A special shout-out to the cleaning lady on the 17th floor – she was incredibly responsive to all our requests. Third, the hotel has embraced digital empowerment, and the 'Xiao Du Xiao Du' smart assistant added a lot of convenience to our stay. Fourth, the hotel's location is incredibly convenient, and the views are lovely. Suggestions: The toilet and bathroom are a bit small, and the floor can be slippery. Improving this would be more beneficial for elderly guests. I hope they offer more discounted long-stay packages in the future. I'll definitely be back!

I came to Qingdao from Shanghai to relax, and the moment I walked into the hotel, seeing the front desk lady's smiling face and hearing her kind voice, it felt like coming home. She even gave me a free room upgrade. Through the window, I could see mountains in the distance straight ahead and the sea to the side – it was truly beautiful. Also, the cleaning lady tidied my room spotlessly every day, neatly folding my clothes. The attention to detail was excellent, and she always greeted me with a smile in the hallway. This is hands down the best hotel I've stayed at in this price range in China! The front desk staff were incredibly polite and warm, making me feel so welcome. The room was spotlessly clean, and I loved that the bath and face towels were individually wrapped and sterilized – it really put my mind at ease. They offered water upon check-in and even a small cookie gift when I checked out. Besides tea bags, the daily room service also included snacks, which was a lovely touch. The housekeeping staff were also very courteous. Absolutely fantastic, full marks to all the staff!

The ocean-themed family room is on the same floor as the executive lounge. The decor is an awkward ocean theme trying to disguise an old hotel's liver-red soft furnishings. The curtains and throw pillows are Yiwu-quality, the carpet is worn and faded, and the bedroom is plain wood. The entrance and bathroom are liver-red, and the wardrobe is too small to hang clothes in. The only positive is the 2.2-meter bed.

The room was a bit small, but the staff's service attitude was excellent. They proactively provided extra bottled water daily and even offered a drying rack without me asking. Every time I encountered them, they greeted me warmly. A small suggestion: the cookies given at checkout were delicious, but it would have been even better if they were offered at check-in. That way, I could have bought more if I liked them, but after checking out, I couldn't purchase them anymore.

Although it's an older hotel, the facilities are very new! Brand new furniture and bathroom fixtures. No bathtub, though. It has smart controls and is very clean and hygienic. The service auntie on the 10th floor is particularly diligent and meticulous, works efficiently, and has a great service attitude. The subway station (Yanan West Road) is right downstairs, which is excellent. The breakfast, especially, is wonderful. While it mainly consists of local, down-to-earth dishes, everything is homemade by the hotel with very few pre-made items. It's a very thoughtfully prepared breakfast.

Excellent! Great location and super friendly service. The staff really goes above and beyond, providing thoughtful and personalized service. Housekeeping was meticulous, paying attention to every detail. You can truly tell the hotel staff genuinely cares about every guest.

I brought my parents to Qingdao for a trip this time and chose the Litian Hotel based on recommendations from a certain social media platform. It's only a two-minute walk from the subway station, and our room had a direct ocean view. We were also just a 20-minute walk from May Fourth Square, so we spent a lot of time exploring the beach on foot. On our first night, we washed some clothes, and the cleaning lady on the 10th floor thoughtfully provided us with a drying rack. She was very kind and made my parents feel right at home. The room even had beach slippers for tide-pooling, which was a nice touch. Thanks to Litian for being so accommodating over these three days; it made our trip very comfortable.
