Terrible. Check-in was okay, but the evening was a nightmare. After a long day out, we returned to our room to find there was absolutely no hot water, and apparently, it was the entire hotel. The hotel knew about this beforehand but didn't fix it or even inform guests. They waited for us to discover it ourselves. When we approached them to find a solution, their attitude was awful. It was clearly the hotel's fault, yet they were incredibly aggressive. I don't know why they were so hostile. Were we supposed to take cold showers in this weather? We ended up checking out and leaving. They have zero crisis management skills.

The room decor was okay, but some areas weren't very clean. I booked for three nights, and on the second evening, the hot water stopped working while I was showering, only reaching 30°C. I called the front desk, and they said they'd fix it. However, in the morning, the hot water still wasn't working. When I went to the front desk, they told me I'd have to use a communal shower area, which was a very unsatisfactory solution. In the end, I decided to check out early and find another place.

This hotel was pretty good. On entrance the room was nice and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Check in was very easy. A few problems was the toilet kept clogging. The hotel was nice enough to fix it for us but it happened 3 times during our stay. Also the elevator was too low and packed with people. You can sometimes wait 10 minutes to take it. The breakfast wasn’t great and didn’t have a ton of quality options. Overall the stay was pretty good. I’m not sure I would stay again, but it was a pretty good experience.

Location wise was good, however lots of dust particles in the room. Window with draft during winter is unpleasant as well.

This hotel is very strategically located with 10 mins walk to shopping malls and big grocery store like Aeon.The metro or bus station is also 10 mins walks,The May 4th square is just one metro station away. The negative part of this hotel is the lift, it is very slow, sometimes it took 10-15 mins wait .

Good location. 5 minute walk to subway. 15 minute walk to centre of Qingdao. Comfortable room and friendly staff on check in and check out. Good value for money. Would stay here again.

There was a weird smell in the room and no chain on the door. Other than that it was a perfectly fine and convenient place to stay

"The hotel room was clean, nice and spacious. Breakfast offered with a wide variety of food. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is just perfect for a walk around the city centre. Can easily look for food around. Malls & Metro within walking distance

Conveniently located near May Square with walking distance to metro, shopping, and dining. The room is stylish & functional with pleasant wash island & bath areas. Shower has thermo display and beautiful non slippery marble floor. Toilet has head light on but its brown color tinted door shield the light from the sleeping areas. The high quality thick towels are soft, the comforters are light & fluffy with crisp & clean sheets. I recommend the hotel and it will be the 1st choice of my next stay in Qingdao.

Excellent location, close to MTR station. Staff friendly. Good size rooms. Very clean and comfortable and quiet. Plenty of food options nearby. Would be happy to return.

I believe you change your bath towels after each guest, but if the stains aren't washed out, just throw them away. What's the point of changing them if the stains and bloodstains aren't removed? You have to go to the front desk if there's a problem; waiting for staff to find you is impossible. Not a single apology was offered; all you did was emphasize changing towels after each guest.

My only point is for the relatively good service from the hotel's front desk staff. Everything else was absolutely terrible! I've never seen anything this bad in all the hotels I've stayed in; it's like I've been hit with a lottery. The room pictures only matched the actual room. The lobby on the first floor was quite luxurious, but upon entering the room, before I even saw anything, I was immediately hit by a foul odor. The sheets on the bed were wrinkled and crumpled, as if a cleaning lady had just crawled out of bed. There were holes and strange stains on the sheets. The windows were covered in dust. What I found most inhumane and unbearable was that the hairdryers only lasted ten seconds? You told me it was because of overheat protection. When I asked for a different hairdryer, someone brought me the exact same one, and I used both hairdryers for twenty seconds! I was so angry I almost laughed. If I wanted to dry my hair completely, I would need at least twenty of these hairdryers. The kettle was so dirty that when I boiled water, there was a layer of oily or grayish stuff floating on top. The water pipes were repaired in the evening, but there was no hot water. I ran the tap for over ten minutes, but it was all cold water. They told me to shower in my room downstairs. I won't complain, even though it was running around, at least I could take a shower. I don't think I have very high standards for quality of life, and I usually don't bother with negative reviews, but this hotel's behavior is truly astonishing. I suggest the owner stay at their own hotel and see if they would complain or give a bad review as a tourist. Besides, this hotel isn't exactly cheap even during holidays; they know they raise prices and want to make money, but at least do they justify the prices they set?
