Qingdao Haitian Hotel

Huge thanks to the wonderful Ginny for her excellent and thoughtful service! She upgraded our room so we could enjoy a sea view! We were very satisfied with our stay this trip. The room was clean, the location was great – just downstairs to the beach. We'll definitely choose to stay at Hatien again next time.

The Qingdao Haitian Hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Qingdao's CBD, offering an absolutely unbeatable view. We were lucky enough to book an executive room this time, which gave us access to the executive lounge. While other guests were still queuing for check-in, we were already relaxing comfortably in the high-altitude lounge, sipping coffee, enjoying delicate desserts, and overlooking the entire cityscape of Qingdao – the experience was simply fantastic. The stay included complimentary tickets to the Cloud Haitian Observation Deck. Since we were two adults and two children, the hotel thoughtfully provided two extra tickets, allowing us all to visit. The Dunhuang themed exhibition inside was incredibly impressive. What truly deserves the highest praise is the hotel's meticulous service. My child tends to get hot easily, and I casually mentioned that the room felt a bit warm. Within two minutes, a staff member delivered a fan. Even though the room temperature wasn't actually a big issue, the duty manager repeatedly apologized the next day and even presented us with a lovely jelly air freshener as a small gift. The entire stay exceeded our expectations, and the experience was excellent. Qingdao has now become a city I'd specifically visit again, besides Sanya. Highly recommended!

If I ever visit Qingdao again or recommend it to friends, the Hyatt Regency Qingdao will definitely be my first choice. It was a fantastic experience and I felt it was very much worth it. The location is superb; it's right across the road from the Third Bathing Beach and within walking distance of May Fourth Square. A stroll in the evening to see the light show is absolutely amazing. It shares a lobby with the St. Regis, but at half the price. The service was excellent. I especially want to commend the lovely Lora. She not only helped us get an upgraded room but also arranged a late check-out, which was an added bonus! The room itself was great too, with complete and clean facilities. Breakfast is on the 3rd floor, and there's a wide variety of items.

The location and views are undeniably great, with the beach right downstairs, making it super convenient for getting around and sightseeing. However, the actual stay was a huge disappointment, and I hope the hotel takes these safety concerns seriously: 1. During showers, water floods onto the guest room floor, making the marble surface extremely slippery and a major fall hazard. This is very concerning when staying with children. 2. Between the twin beds, the wooden headboard edges are exposed, rough, and sharp, posing a risk of splinters or cuts for young children. 3. Breakfast during the summer holiday was severely impacted by long queues, and we often couldn't get freshly prepared items, which made for a poor dining experience. 4. The simple meals at the executive lounge on the 30th floor were mediocre and didn't match the hotel's positioning. 5. We arrived at 1 PM for check-in and waited for an hour and a half, only to find our room still wasn't cleaned, and they couldn't even give us an estimated cleaning time. The hotel's physical location is excellent, but these safety issues cannot be ignored. I hope the hotel addresses and rectifies them promptly.

This stay exceeded my expectations. The room had a side sea view, was very clean with no strange odors, and the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. It was incredibly quiet at night, ensuring a high quality of rest. The front desk staff were warm and thoughtful, check-in and check-out were fast, and they patiently answered any questions I had. The location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around and finding food. It's suitable for both leisure and business travel. I highly recommend staying here, and I'll choose this hotel again next time! A special thanks to our housekeeper Ruby for her attentive service, which made us feel right at home!

Stayed here twice in a row. It's incredibly close to the beach and everything else was great. Highly recommend!

Everything about this hotel was satisfying. The room was clean and comfortable, and they even upgraded our room and arranged two rooms for us as requested. The partial sea view was beautiful. The hotel service was also excellent, especially Sandy Xiao Dan, who was very thoughtful and attentive. She brought us fruit and checked on our needs daily, particularly regarding room cleaning, always asking when it would be convenient for us. I truly appreciate it. The staff even brought us special local biscuits from Qingdao. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Qingdao.

This trip to Qingdao, the most satisfying part was staying at this hotel. Daisy handled my check-in, and she was incredibly helpful and attentive in answering any questions I had during my stay. She was super! The hotel's location and service are both excellent value for money. I especially recommend the buffet! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.
