Thumbs up -I must say . Almost all staff is very friendly and helpful. Even the room cleaners is very friendly and helpful. Thumbs up again for the concierge staff as well . I specifically recommend this 海尔洲际酒店宾客关系部的 Ivy 王家旸 and one of the cleaning departments lady which I forget to get her name -(she is new trained - 2 month only ) date 11 jan . Room 1256 . She is very caring and helpful. I was rather upset with the morning breakfast staff - all is so unprofessional. Training shld be mandatory to all the staff . They will rather rude and no respect to guest . I do not wish to explain too much on my unpleasant experiences here .

Staff was friendly and able to assist us in English. The room had a wonderful view of the ocean and a portion of Laoshan. We could also see many fireworks being set off on the beach during our stay. Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety. The in house restaurant Dong Hai 88 offered generous portion at a good price. Unfortunately the in house bar, BEBA, was closed.

Disappointing experience due to some confusing information about the food services. When i checked in at 6pm, I was told that the main restaurant was already closing and that I should order from room service. The instructions for room service were misleading and hard to follow because of new qr codes that were not properly connected to the hotel system. The phone next to the menu (and the bed) and menu card with instructions did not work. At one point, I went down to the lobby to ask for help. After three hours of trying to get food, i gave up and left the hotel to find a restaurant. As a result, I did not have enough time to use the pool, which was my main reason for checking into the hotel for the last day of my vacation to celebrate my birthday. Someone from the front desk tried to help, but I think there was a lot of confusion about the qr codes. I could leave more details, but I will just say that later that night I found other instructions about dialling 0 later in very small print. If it had been clearer, I would not have used the QR codes which were far bigger than the text about dialling 0. The bathroom was nice, but a bit worn down. The breakfast could be better. Definitely did not feel like a Westin experience.

Transportation: The hotel should belong to the new development zone in Huangdao District. It is far away from Wusi Square, Badaguan and other attractions in Shinan District. Public transportation requires two subway trips and a Lanxi special line (bus) with children. And luggage 🧳 is very troublesome! The cost of online car-hailing from the vicinity of May Fourth Square to the Mangrove Hotel is a little more than 200 (including tolls), which is really far. If you come, you will stay for a few more days. If you stay for a day, don’t come, it can’t be worth it! Environment: Mangrove Hotel is well known as a one-stop parent-child vacation and entertainment. Eat here, take a bath (the venue is not very large, there are two indoor and outdoor, indoor men and women need to be naked, outdoor men and women need to wear swimsuits) swimming (indoor Swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool is a highlight, it is a children's paradise) play in the sea, movie theater, wedding travel photography, all done! But the hotel is not fully constructed, the check-in is really unreasonable, it is a temporary confusion of the cinema! Hygiene: Don't wash the mud when the radish is too fast. It's not very dirty, but the hygiene really doesn't fit the positioning of a hotel! The linen is still clean, but the ground details are not in place! Service: The cleaning aunt in room 1011 on the 10th floor has a good sense of service. The front desk clerk who checked in on the 7th is average, and the concierge has a good sense of service! Parent-child: Currently open facilities include soup spring, adventure kingdom, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, basically enough for children to play, soup spring and adventure kingdom are extra charges! The outdoor swimming pool and the beach are basically connected, which is so convenient! In addition to ordering takeaways, you can also eat in the hotel's food court, but it's not cheap at all! Not far from the hotel, there is a place to eat in Qingdao Happy Bay. I recommend a place called 0537loft to eat seafood, and I had two meals!

Service: The service is very enthusiastic. All the takeaways ordered are delivered directly to the room. During the experience of Hanfu, they also helped to put it on because I don’t know how to wear it. Facilities: The hotel's buffet is only available on Fridays and Saturdays, so it's a bit troublesome to eat. And breakfast is not a buffet. It will be decided based on the daily guest occupancy whether it will be a meal delivery or a buffet. The meal delivery may not be in line with the taste, which feels a bit wasteful. It is better to order the food a day in advance and make it on demand without wasting it. I almost slipped in the room several times. I don’t know whether it was because the floor was too slippery or the soles of the hotel’s disposable slippers were too slippery. It was really dangerous, especially when the waiter pressed the button The doorbell rang very urgently, making people feel anxious when they heard it. Then, when walking fast, they slipped and fell down several times. Environment: In the ancient city, the environment is naturally good Hygiene: The disposable toothbrushes provided actually have leftovers from other people's previous use... So when the room was cleaned, they were just added without checking?

Seeing that the reviews were very high, I booked a family triple room to try. When I first entered the lobby, I felt it was different from the five-star hotel I stayed in before. It was a bit small and old, and the empty lobby was also a bit short. At that time, I was still slightly disappointed. However, when I walked into the room, it felt really good. It felt like being at home. It was very warm and comfortable. It felt very good. There were fresh fruits and a variety of drinks. Although the room we booked is not a real sea view room, we can still see the distant view. Due to time constraints, I only stayed for one night, but it felt really good. I also gave a small toy and calcium milk biscuits in the evening. The child especially liked this little surprise. The breakfast buffet was also very good. Because I didn’t check carefully when I left in the morning, I left the same charger. I found it when the hotel was cleaning at noon, so I called and asked to send it. Since it was still nearby at that time, we didn’t leave, so we went back to get it, and the hotel also sent it. A very beautiful notebook. Anyway, the whole check-in process was a very good experience. I will go there again if I have the opportunity. Thank you!

We booked 4 nights in a Classic Suite and the room was absolutely lovely! We had a great view of the city (especially awesome view from the bath!), the bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was very clean. Staff were very helpful and professional, even though we only spoke a little Chinese. Breakfast buffet was nice with a decent selection of Western options as well. Would definitely stay again!

The gym is very nice and the equipments are professional, I can’t open the room door after check in, Go N Back between the room and lobby With my heavy bags for twice.Be honesty, the front desk girl should listen to the guy with eyeglasses(he might be the front desk manager … knows what is service ). Eventually, I got a upgrade but still….you guys can do better if u guys willing to listen the problems from the guest.

Stayed at The Lalu for one night. Although it is a bit far from the city, it is really worth it. There were many guests on the day of check-in, and the service staff may have some shortcomings, and the building instructions were not clear. I found the wrong room. I asked a staff member and took me to the room because the room was not cleaned at that time. The view of the sea from the room was not good, so I changed to the previous one. The staff member was not too troublesome, and accompanied me to switch between the two rooms and carry my luggage... Finally, I added WeChat and said that if you need help, you can contact him. Please forgive me for not taking good care of you. Such courteous and considerate service warms my heart. On the day of check-out, the child's study file bag was left on the lobby table, and I asked him to confirm it for me and send it to SF Express. The room is big and spacious, and the bed is oversized 2.2 meters. A family of three sleeps. The room layout is very good, and the welcome biscuits are delicious. The beach is also very good.
