Thumbs up -I must say . Almost all staff is very friendly and helpful. Even the room cleaners is very friendly and helpful. Thumbs up again for the concierge staff as well . I specifically recommend this 海尔洲际酒店宾客关系部的 Ivy 王家旸 and one of the cleaning departments lady which I forget to get her name -(she is new trained - 2 month only ) date 11 jan . Room 1256 . She is very caring and helpful. I was rather upset with the morning breakfast staff - all is so unprofessional. Training shld be mandatory to all the staff . They will rather rude and no respect to guest . I do not wish to explain too much on my unpleasant experiences here .

A good place for leisure especially in the summer time. A huge beaches called Golden and Silver beach are just in front of the hotel Le Meridian @ Huangdao, most of the rooms are with seaviews and balcony, so relaxing!!~ Special thanks given to the MOD (manager on duty) Cindy during our stay. She was kind and helpful, we were appreciated to the complimentary starbuck coffee in the lobby offered to us. Dinner and breakfast buffet were nice at the very competitive price, all staff in the F&B were friendly.

Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety. The in house restaurant Dong Hai 88 offered generous portion at a good price. Unfortunately the in house bar, BEBA, was closed.

My friend and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express during our trip to Qingdao. Initially, we had high expectations of the hotel especially since my friend had experienced what Holiday Inn was like in a previous city which was a very good experience. However, our expectations were no met😕 at this hotel. Overall, it was not a bad stay because the hotel was at a good location (there's a mall literally behind the hotel, lots of restaurants and 5 min walk from the subway station) and the staff at the front dest were nice. However, the food, on trip.com, it notes there's western breakfast but there was not! The breakfast was a basic Chinese breakfast so we were not satisfied with the breakfast at all. Additionally, the hotel needs to be diligent about cleaning the bathrooms. You need to actually scrub the bathroom and not just wipe it down! The shower and around the face basin had mold which was very disgusting and disturbing 🤢. Please do better! Otherwise, we had a good stay. The bed and pillows were so soft, we felt like we were sleeping on clouds 😍😁. We also loved that the lobby had free popcorn for the guests to take 😄.

However, the hotel is lacking in specific cleanliness in the rooms for example stains all over the bathroom and around the toliets and marks on doors. Disappointing experience due to some confusing information about the food services. When i checked in at 6pm, I was told that the main restaurant was already closing and that I should order from room service. The instructions for room service were misleading and hard to follow because of new qr codes that were not properly connected to the hotel system. The phone next to the menu (and the bed) and menu card with instructions did not work. At one point, I went down to the lobby to ask for help. After three hours of trying to get food, i gave up and left the hotel to find a restaurant. As a result, I did not have enough time to use the pool, which was my main reason for checking into the hotel for the last day of my vacation to celebrate my birthday. Someone from the front desk tried to help, but I think there was a lot of confusion about the qr codes. I could leave more details, but I will just say that later that night I found other instructions about dialling 0 later in very small print. If it had been clearer, I would not have used the QR codes which were far bigger than the text about dialling 0. The bathroom was nice, but a bit worn down. The breakfast could be better. Definitely did not feel like a Westin experience.

We chose Meishu Holiday Hotel for our last night in Qingdao. The service was very good. They contacted us one day in advance and provided us with an accurate address. We arrived early on the same day and directly helped us check in early. The view from the large terrace is really amazing. , there is a seaside trail just a few dozen meters away. Don’t be too happy leaning on the railing to listen to the sea. The transportation is also relatively convenient. Subway Line 3 is 600 meters away. It is a very satisfying choice.

The hotel is close to the beach and beer fest area. Sadly the hotel was not very clean and my room had still some garbage from the previous tenants on the floor and this was still there after 3 times room service. The air conditioner did not work and even with 18 degrees outside the room was very hot and could only be cooled with opening the door. The gym was decent and clean. The breakfast was only basics and nothing fancy. Sadly the service was not paying much attention and it was sometime hard to get a coffee to the table without self ordering at the counter. Cereal choices where limited as were the fruit options. Overall it is a good hotel that’s lacking a little on the service side.

Old shabby hotel catering to visiting local tourists, mainly. If you're a foreigner, the drivers of the cabs waiting outside the Hotel will rip you off 20-30 yuan unless you pay attention to the meter and immediately yell at them in case of overcharge. (Almost) noone at the check-in desk speaks English unless you chance on a manager. There're two teenage consierge boys at the main entrance, who boss the incoming patrons around and tell them how to live. The restaurant prices are on a par with those at Shangri-La hotel, but with far fewer choices and lower in cooking quality. The only BIG advantage if you're a swimmer like myself: a former German ”Kaiser” swimming beach is right accross the road. It's now callled ”Bathing Beach 1.” Awesome for doing non-stop laps for an hour. And even then: you can easily get to the beach by metro from any other Qingdao hotel. Just get off at Huiquan Square (Line 3) and come out through Exit C.
