The location is PRIME! The facilities are MORE THAN satisfactory. The staff is friendly, efficient, warm and welcoming. Disappointing experience due to some confusing information about the food services. When i checked in at 6pm, I was told that the main restaurant was already closing and that I should order from room service. The instructions for room service were misleading and hard to follow because of new qr codes that were not properly connected to the hotel system. The phone next to the menu (and the bed) and menu card with instructions did not work. At one point, I went down to the lobby to ask for help. After three hours of trying to get food, i gave up and left the hotel to find a restaurant. As a result, I did not have enough time to use the pool, which was my main reason for checking into the hotel for the last day of my vacation to celebrate my birthday. Someone from the front desk tried to help, but I think there was a lot of confusion about the qr codes. I could leave more details, but I will just say that later that night I found other instructions about dialling 0 later in very small print. If it had been clearer, I would not have used the QR codes which were far bigger than the text about dialling 0. The bathroom was nice, but a bit worn down. The breakfast could be better. Definitely did not feel like a Westin experience.

When booking a room, I chose between the Olympic Sailing Center Hotel and this hotel. As a result, the experience was not very good when I first arrived. The overall design of the hotel lobby was very messy. There were quite a lot of staff at the front desk, but check-in was a bit slow. After checking into the room, I found that the actual size of the room should be less than 30 square meters. I booked this room because it was listed as 45 square meters, but it turned out to be much smaller. It felt like false advertising, and the room windows only had half walls, like a ba*****t room. The upper part with windows is also blocked by the outer wall, so there is basically no natural light. Another point is that the room is very humid and has a musty smell. When I sleep, I feel that the bed is wet. I don’t know if it’s the climate here in Qingdao or if the hotel doesn’t do a good job of dehumidification. I basically didn’t get a good night’s sleep. The hotel is cleaning The aunt has a very good service attitude and actively helped us solve some problems. The shampoo provided in the bathroom smells good and my hair is very fluffy after washing. But overall, the living experience in this hotel is really not good. I will not choose it again in the future. It is quite disappointing.

Fine place, kind staff, not exactly authentic or anything Chinese (or Irish) but does the trick. However don’t expect quality coffee despite the name and the heavy advertisement about “coffetel”. They were unable to provide any on the first day we arrived and when getting one on the second day, it was probably one of the worst coffee I’ve had in a long time lol. Convenient enough location.
