Qingyuan International Hotel

The front desk upgraded me to an Executive River View room, which was spacious and clean. The hotel itself is a bit older; the lobby looks a little dated. The breakfast was pretty good, especially the congee – it was delicious!

The Qingyuan International Hotel truly lives up to its reputation as a local landmark – the experience was fantastic! Its location is superb, right by the river, offering breathtaking panoramic views from the river-view rooms. Watching the sunset over the Beijiang River in the evening and the city lights sparkle along the banks at night created an incredible ambiance. The lobby is grand and elegant, and the front desk staff were warm and efficient, making check-in a breeze. Our room was spacious and bright, with comfortable bedding and excellent cleanliness; the soundproofing was also great, ensuring a high quality of sleep. The facilities are comprehensive, with both indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, and a kids' play area, making it perfect for family trips. The breakfast selection was rich, and the Cantonese dim sum was authentic, with attentive service in the restaurant. While some facilities show a slight bit of age, the overall value for money is high. Whether for business or leisure, I highly recommend it and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Qingyuan!

Overall, it's pretty decent. The location is great, the ambiance is comfortable, and the window view is excellent. Some facilities are a bit old, like the noisy bathroom door handle which disturbed my sleep. The food was just average.

An older hotel with somewhat dated facilities, but the hygiene is acceptable. It seems to be an older design, as there isn't enough surface parking and even less underground parking – nowhere to park at all. What's even more frustrating is that the hotel states it has charging stations, but they're all occupied by external ride-share vehicles, non-guests, and petrol cars. The security guards ignore the situation, and the front desk staff can only offer helpless excuses. The hotel management is really lacking! It feels like a one-off street vendor transaction…

Clean and tidy with a beautiful environment. Housekeeping came daily to clean and restock amenities. Dining and entertainment options nearby were all very convenient. My child especially loved the ball pit at the hotel and didn't want to leave!

The hotel facilities are a bit old. It has an outdoor pool and a children's play area, and its main selling point is being next to the river and a government building. You can access the parking lot and floors freely. The service and reception staff don't seem to prioritize the customer's best interests, which could definitely be improved.
