Shan Hai Guan Xianting Calligraphy Hotel（Ancient City Scenic Area)

The hotel's ambiance is absolutely stunning, with winding paths leading to secluded spots and a charming, antique feel. It's perfect for a getaway! You can even see 'The First Pass Under Heaven' right from your room window, and the hotel's location is unbeatable – you're literally right at the First Pass scenic area. And the most important thing is the service… it was truly exceptional, far exceeding my expectations!

The service was excellent and very thoughtful, always considering the guests' needs. The environment was elegant and comfortable, and it's conveniently located right next to 'First Pass Under Heaven'. Getting around and finding places to eat was a breeze. My child also got to experience stone rubbing and movable type printing, making their own souvenirs. We were very satisfied! 👍

The hotel is ideally located right next to the Shanhaiguan Scenic Area, just a two-minute walk away, with plenty of dining options nearby. It has a wonderful scholarly atmosphere, feeling more like stepping into a study. Every staff member was exceptionally good—proactive, enthusiastic, professional, and meticulous. I'd say their service level surpassed most five-star hotels I've stayed in. All in all, it was a very satisfying experience.

This hotel boasts an excellent location. You can see the Shanhai Pass tower right from the hotel's courtyard, seamlessly integrating the scenic landmark into the hotel's garden design – it's very clever. The hotel emanates a scholarly, cultural ambiance throughout. The front desk service was gentle and enthusiastic, and the room amenities were thoughtfully prepared, even including alcohol wipes. In the evening, a lovely fruit platter was delivered. While Shanhai Pass itself didn't particularly impress me, this hotel certainly did; it could easily be considered the top hotel in the area. Many foreigners were staying here too, which was great! 👍

This hotel boasts charming, traditional Chinese architecture and a serene atmosphere. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. It's just a stone's throw from the Shanhai Pass city gate, and right in the heart of the ancient city, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. Parking is also a breeze. The service was incredibly warm and attentive, which we truly appreciated! Breakfast isn't a buffet; it's a 'nine-square grid' meal, which was more than enough. The bamboo swaying outside the restaurant creates a truly poetic ambiance.
