Traveling with a pet, the front desk specially arranged a very spacious room for us. We arrived quite late, and the front desk staff thoughtfully helped us bring our luggage to the room, which was a huge plus. Housekeeping was generally good, but they kept knocking on the door even when the 'Do Not Disturb' sign was on, which was a bit baffling 😂. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast; there really wasn't much to eat, felt a bit perfunctory. The room itself was great, and the front desk service was excellent. The sea view was also nice.

Fantastic! The location is great, with the ocean right outside the room. The hotel is just the right size – not too crowded and noisy, yet not too small and desolate. Everything is convenient. It perfectly met the kids' desire to go clamming, dig in the sand, and surf. You can watch the sunrise from the room. Dining out with a sea view and a gentle breeze was incredibly pleasant. The service was also thoughtful and warm, but not overly enthusiastic – just the right balance! I'll definitely try to come back next time!

The hotel's location is great, within walking distance to Pigeon Nest Park. It's a genuine sea-view room; you can hear the sound of the waves from the bed. The front desk staff were very friendly and even gave us a free upgrade to a room with a small courtyard.

Is everyone flocking to Beidaihe to escape the summer heat? It was scorching! At 10:30 AM, it was already 36 degrees Celsius outside, and the tide was out, so we couldn't even go crabbing. It's hard to book a last-minute hotel in a crowded Beidaihe. I saw reviews mentioning old facilities but had no choice but to book it. Honestly, with that expectation, it wasn't too bad. After all, the hotel is 20 years old, so maintaining it like this isn't easy. Avoid Building No. 3. The elevator constantly breaks down, which is terrifying. It was under repair when we arrived, so we had to climb the stairs, and it broke again the next day. When I reported it to the front desk, they seemed completely unconcerned, as if they were used to it. From 6 AM to 8:30 AM, there was a vibrating noise throughout the building. I thought it was a construction site, but when I asked the front desk, they said it was the kitchen machines running for breakfast. All I can do is commend their 'excellence' – I'm out of words. The hotel breakfast costs 38 yuan per person. If your room rate includes breakfast, you'll eat it and be speechless. For those who didn't book with breakfast, don't waste your money. It's even worse than a farmhouse breakfast – there's nothing, not even fried rice or noodles. I heard it's not even run by the hotel but by a partner. I saw customers arguing because the breakfast vouchers given by the hotel weren't enough, and they were counting heads, which didn't match up. These are all avoidable issues. The staff don't wear name tags, so I don't know anyone's name. If I wanted to praise someone, I wouldn't know who to mention. Overall, some service was decent. However, the security was lacking; there was no one directing parking, and no designated spots. Everyone just parked wherever they could find space. I can understand, though; it's tough for anyone in nearly 40-degree heat under the blazing sun. If there are other hotels you can book, go elsewhere. The only selling point is the small, unkempt patch of beach and rocks downstairs; there's really nothing else.

No tissues in the room, I had to grab a pack from a cleaning cart myself. The shower drain was also clogged! It's not as good as it was a few years ago! The only positives are its proximity to the beach and a swimming pool, but even the pool was pretty dirty with plastic bags and drink bottles floating around.

The facilities are really old and the hygiene is poor. The carpet was full of sunflower seed shells, hair, and all sorts of debris. The shower door in the bathroom leaked, so after a shower, half the bathroom was flooded. There were no chairs in the room, and it was extremely damp, with humidity around 85%, which was very uncomfortable. Later, the front desk provided an old dehumidifier, but the humidity still stayed above 70%. The breakfast selection was decent, but they didn't provide disposable towels in the room; you had to buy them separately. The location is indeed good. This hotel might have been high-class in the past, but it's clear that both the management and facilities need an upgrade. I wouldn't choose this hotel again if I come back to Beidaihe.

The location is fantastic! Our room had amazing sea views and we could watch the sunrise. We just had to go downstairs to get to Happy Bay, and the kids could spend all day digging in the sand and playing in the water. The hotel also has a swimming pool, and the restaurant downstairs offers convenient sea views. It's really convenient for families with children. We've been coming here pretty much every year for many years now. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Beidaihe!

The hotel is right by the sea. We happened to be there during the first high tide of the ***** new year, and the kids had a blast catching lots of small crabs. We also got to see the sunrise over the ocean, which was absolutely amazing!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It reminded me a little of my childhood holidays by the seaside in Poland in the early 2000s. The furniture is beautiful, made of solid wood, and everything is clean and well maintained. The staff were very helpful, and the view is fantastic. Most importantly, the room did not smell of cigarette smoke, which is quite rare in China, even when you book a non-smoking room. Here, they really made sure the room was completely free of cigarette smell, and I truly appreciated that. You can also use the hotel's restaurant and order dishes from the menu for an additional charge. The food is good, and it's a lovely place to have dinner while enjoying the sea view. The only downside is that they don't serve wine. Having a glass of wine would make the experience even better, especially for European guests. There is direct access to the more commercial beach via the stairs right next to the hotel, while a quieter, less crowded beach is just a 5–10 minute walk away. I highly recommend this place.

The dining options are convenient; the hotel offers a breakfast buffet, and you can order à la carte for lunch and dinner at the restaurant. The room was tidy and clean, and the staff were prompt with housekeeping. The ocean view from the window allowed us to watch the sunrise right from our room. Turning left out of the hotel brings you directly to the beach, with both rocky areas and sandy shores, which was perfect for the kids to go crabbing!

The hotel is right by the sea. I booked a garden view room but got upgraded to a sea view room. You can see the ocean and the waves crashing against the rocks, and in the distance, you can spot Biluo Tower. Just a three-minute walk downstairs, you'll find Huanle Bay and the cruise pier, which is convenient for photos and sightseeing.
