Guyu Sea View Hotel (Beidaihe pigeonhole store)

The Guyu Seaview Hotel has an excellent location right next to Pigeon Nest Park, making it super convenient to catch the sunrise over the sea. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the bedding is comfortable. Some room types even offer sea views. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming, and check-in is efficient. There's also a children's play area within the courtyard, which is great for families traveling with kids, and parking is convenient. The only minor downsides are that prices increase during peak season, and some rooms not facing the sea don't have ocean views. Overall, it was a very good stay. If you're coming to Beidaihe to see the sunrise, this hotel is a top choice.

Not great. The hygiene was a bit poor. There were even leftover pills from the previous guest on the floor, and the type of pills they were made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

The hotel lobby offers complimentary snacks and a fruit bar daily at set times, with the fruit selection changing regularly. A light dinner is also available in the evenings. I didn't get a chance to try it as I was out dining, but it shows how thoughtful the hotel's service is. Aside from the slightly high room rates during holidays, everything else was pretty good. I forgot to take pictures of the room.

The 30 sqm room was clean and tidy, featuring a large shower head and a separate toilet and bathroom design. The seafood buffet across the street offered unlimited scallops and abalone. No need to go to Pigeon Nest Park for tide pooling – you can directly access the wild swimming area to the west, where the sky meets the sea, and catch mantis shrimp, clams, and hermit crabs. I'll definitely come again!

Booking this hotel was a complete mistake, especially for nearly 800 yuan a night. The service was unhelpful and rigid. Facilities: Run-down Cleanliness: Average Ambiance: Ordinary Facilities: Worse than what you'd find at a typical Home Inn budget hotel.

The bedding was clean, and the room was bright and tidy. It's very close to Pigeon Nest Park. If I come back to this area, I'll definitely book their hotel again. I forgot to take photos of the room, but their seafood buffet is also worth trying. Initially, I only booked one night, but extended for another because the room was so good.

Facilities: Decent. Good for kids, with both indoor and outdoor playgrounds. There's also a gym. Cleanliness: The indoor areas were fine, but the room windows weren't very clean. Environment: Close to Pigeon's Nest Park. It was okay, but I wouldn't really recommend the family room. Service: There's a free dinner on the first floor. It's simple, but it's alright.

A family of three, we stayed for two nights in Beidaihe. The hotel's location is great; directly across the street is the exit to Pigeon Nest Park, and it's about a 10-minute walk to the free beach there. The hotel is clean and tidy. The only downside is that the hallway soundproofing isn't great, so it can be a bit noisy. The lobby offers complimentary fruit (peaches and small apples), snacks, and even a simple late-night meal (rice porridge and small steamed buns). They also provided beach toys for the kids. The hotel is incredibly thoughtful!

Absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious and even had a courtyard. Everything was smart-home enabled, and there was always a supply of complimentary fruit and tea. It's super close to the beach, and also very near Pigeon's Nest Park and Biluodao Bar (which I highly recommend!). When we checked out, they even gave a souvenir to my child. The front desk girl was incredibly enthusiastic and even upgraded our room.
