Olympia Hotel

The room was very clean and equipped with smart controls. Food deliveries could be brought directly to the room by a robot. The hotel is located close to the Qinjiang River, offering beautiful views of both banks.

The room was very spacious, fully equipped with amenities, and soundproofing was excellent. It was also very clean. The service attitude now is superb, and breakfast was plentiful. My only complaint is that there's road construction nearby, which makes the area a bit messy. I went to Sanniang Bay, the boat ticket was 80 RMB per person, and I even saw pink dolphins! Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Excellent value for money. The room was fantastic, and I even got an upgrade. The service was superb; they gave me many bottles of water and drinks. They also took my dirty laundry, washed it, and folded it neatly, just like new clothes for sale, all for free.

I slept incredibly well at the 1916. After two months of staying in various hotels, this was by far the best experience. The room was thoughtfully designed, which is a rare find. The front desk staff were welcoming, and the air quality was good. The 18th/19th floors have new carpets, and the laundry room and gym on the 18th floor are both excellent. The fish sashimi from Heng County across the street offers incredible value for money!

The area around the hotel is under construction, dusty and chaotic. The hotel itself is located in a high-rise building, with outdated decor, hardly qualifying as a mid-to-high-end hotel. It's barely considered budget, and even a Home Inn isn't as clean… There was an unannounced water outage during my stay, from 6 PM to 8:30 PM. When the water came back on, it was yellowish. After running for 10 minutes, the yellowing subsided, but the flow was extremely weak. The shower water had a smell, but I couldn't tell if it was from the water itself or the shower stall. The hotel offered no effective solution for the water outage. They offered to upgrade my room, but I only needed normal water usage. Even with the upgraded room, the water was still out. What's the point? There was no apology, no compensation offered. The bathroom and toilet share a single door; closing one door reveals the other side of the bathroom… The front desk staff were also extremely unprofessional. They gave everyone's ID cards upon check-in and then asked me for mine, completely clueless. They asked about the nearby supermarkets, showing no knowledge whatsoever. A terrible experience.

When I checked into this hotel, there was road construction in front of it, so the external environment wasn't ideal. I was even considering moving to another hotel, but since I didn't want the hassle, I stayed here instead. Surprisingly, although this hotel has been operating for many years and the facilities aren't new, the environment, service, and cleanliness were all excellent, indicating very good management. The breakfast was also fantastic, and parking was very convenient, making it very driver-friendly.
