After comparing several options, I chose Yuanji and had a truly pleasant three-day stay. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to West Street, making it convenient to get anywhere. It's just a few minutes' walk from Kaiyuan Temple, and dining, shopping, and sightseeing are all incredibly easy. The facilities are well-equipped and clean, and the service is attentive. They added me on WeChat before I even checked in and were incredibly detailed and enthusiastic, answering all my questions promptly. For my New Year's trip in 2026, I hastily chose the Yuanji Hotel, and it was a pleasant surprise! The hotel was clean and tidy, and the staff were very enthusiastic. You can get a great view of the twin pagodas from the rooftop, and it's super convenient for getting around, being very close to Kaiyuan Temple and West Street.

Stayed at this hotel for one night on the 21st, and it was a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, the staff had great attitudes, the location was superb, the facilities were new, and the price was very reasonable. Excellent hotel, not expensive, clean, friendly, quite new and with an outstanding location. Although it’s very centrally located right next to Kaiyuan temple, it’s still very quiet at night. Our room was on the street, with a couple of beautiful old trees right in front of the window. We extended our stay here because we liked it so much. I recommend!

You can't check in until noon, so I wouldn't recommend this place if you're arriving early. The front desk is tucked away around a corner in a small alley, making it really hard to find. My room faced the street and was incredibly noisy because of the school across the road. Plus, the shower leaked, leaving the whole vanity area soaked.
