It was my 2nd stay at this hotel in Quanzhou, the front house staff were amazing, especially a member of staff called Kyle. Thank you for the human connection. The rooms where nice and clean, I was also given the opportunity to enjoy a late checkout as my flight back to Shanghai was early evening. There is a shipping mail next door to the hotel, it’s perfect. The breakfast selection was good, lots of choices however I was not happy about being placed in a segregated corner in the restaurant on the 5th floor away from the local people because of not being local. For an international hotel I was highly disappointed by this kind of xenophobia treatment. I came across 2 managers at breakfast, 1 was a gentleman and very polite and the other named Jack, speaking in local dialect of which I can understand, thought I came in from Guangzhou, what made him think that?? I’ve lived in Shanghai for many years and from England, it was an automatic assumption that was very unprofessional. I had to tell the manager not to be scared of foreigners. Why should I have to say that in an international hotel. Apart from this bad review, maybe if I was another race, it would of been a smooth business stay at the intercontinental.

The hotel is located next to Qingyuan Mountain, opposite to Quanzhou West Lake, next to Fujian-Taiwan Museum and Quanzhou Museum, not too far from the Marionette Hall, and the air quality is good. It is about 3 kilometers away from Kaiyuan Temple on West Street. There are shared bicycles around. The 1-3 floors of the hotel are spa bathing clubs, and the 4th floor is guest rooms. It is integrated with the Locke Hotel on the edge. The service attitude of the front desk and the floor is very good, and fruit is delivered to the room every day. For breakfast, you have to get a hand card from the spa club to eat club breakfast. The room is large in size and has a bubble pool, but the facilities are outdated. The water pressure of the shower head is extremely low and the temperature response is slow. The sanitation conditions are average. The roof is damp and deformed, which causes a peculiar smell in the house. Water will also flow backwards, and the fan is very loud. There is no sign on the indoor switch, only the blind box can be opened. There is no switch at the bedside, and the lights need to be turned off in advance. The location of the plug is unreasonable, and charging is troublesome. There are two roads behind the mountain view house, the sound insulation is not good, and the sound of cars coming and going is clear.

Breakfast needs to be strengthened and the room cleaning staff is very good. The room and the corridor basically smelled of smoke, because the air conditioner was too noisy and turned off. I smelled that there was still a little decoration smell. It was reasonable for several years. Overall, it is still given 5 stars, and there is no other choice in Quanzhou.

As for the environment, the overall environment looks good. The bathtub is okay, but the sound insulation is not very good. I don't know what the bar is downstairs, but it is quite noisy. The air conditioner can only be turned on at a minimum of 22 degrees, which will really make you die of heat 😂 Service: This is the first time I've stayed at a five-star hotel and I haven't checked out yet. I opened the door and went in to check if I had left. I even called. Do you need me to collect my luggage and put it at the front desk? If I'm overtime, I'll pay more if I need to. It's really annoying to keep calling me asking if I want to renew my stay before the time is up. Frequent is not necessary

The hotel is located in the center of Nan'an, on the edge of Nan's largest and most beautiful [Wurong Park]. The lobby on the first floor is luxuriously decorated.
