Dom Jose Beach Hotel (Plus) Reviews

Fantastic hotel. Stayed in a room with a small balcony and sea view. The sound of the crashing waves are very loud when you open the doors so if you’re not acquired to noise then you may want to choose a room not facing the sea. The room Itself was very clean and well maintained although the shower tiles had some dark marks on the grouting, doors and panels were spotless. The breakfast was very good but was almost the same each morning, to be fair, what else can you eat other than the usual stuff? Evening meals were lovely with a different choice each day but I personally found some dishes a little salty. This hotel is perfect if you want to just chill and relax and take long walks. The promenade is very flat with lovely a sunset each evening. As we went in the winter it was very quiet with plenty of room to manoeuvre. People are very friendly especially in the cafes and restaurants. There are many eateries but if you like coffees and cakes , oh and sushi, it is heaven. If this hotel had a few more facilities like an indoor pool and spa it would be perfect. I wouldn’t say that it is an ideal hotel if you have kids but the promenade would be nice for them to release some energy.

The hotel was fantastic—spotlessly clean, with my room tidied daily. The breakfast and facilities were excellent. They also allowed me to store my luggage after check-out and continue using the swimming pool and lounge. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Hotel was right on beach front so lovely location I understand a deposit (refundable) for towels but also charging €2 per towel per day (non refundable) was a bit much

Located on the beach, in a prime location, it is an ideal place to relax.

An excellent stay. From the service, the facilities and the breakfast with a stunning view of the sea. I highly recommend it.
