Nice kitchen, dining area, and view in the 5 bedroom cottage. Close to the pool and office. Beware of a language barrier. We asked for a change of towels and it took a good 5 minutes for them to understand. If you’re looking for accessible, find another cottage. When we went, the hosts were made aware of accessibility issues and we were told “we have a ramp and a new shower on the main floor.” The ramp is not accessible. There is a good 6 inch drop at the end of it and only one side has a railing (wobbly, but it’s there). The shower did not have any grab bars. If you have no mobility issues, great place to stay. Otherwise, I’d suggest going somewhere else. (Also, it seemed like they’re in the midst of renovations with this cottage - one room had no lights in the sockets and there are so many outlets everywhere.)

Had a great time with 2 families. Was well equipped and very clean. 4 bedroom cottage also had 4 bathrooms which was a plus. Staff went above and beyond and were very friendly and helpful. Only negative would be that the bed that we had was not very comfortable.

The good: Good location, quick drive to many Cavendish tourist spots. Nice playground equipment for kids. Small but clean swimming pool with deck chairs. Many DVDs available to borrow (as long as they stock the unit with a DVD player) Awesome jacuzzi bathtub! Could be improved: The beds. New mattresses and pillows would go a long way. Make sure the unit is stocked before new guests. Information binder was missing, the DVD player was missing and the cutting board was missing. Some windows had bug screens & some didn’t. Some had screens but had holes in them. It would be great to have a patio umbrella over the picnic table. Make sure all brochures, websites & listings are up to date & not advertising bicycles available for guests. It was a good but not great stay. Would probably try a different place next time.
