Mercure Queenstown truly elevates the vacation experience! My friend and I stayed in a lake view room with two large beds, and the entire experience was fantastic – definitely five stars! 🌄 Stunning Views: The lake view room offers an absolutely divine panorama! You can take in the breathtaking beauty of Lake Wakatipu and the Southern Alps right from your bed. The lake and mountain scenery, both morning and evening, is so beautiful it leaves you speechless; waking up to it every day was incredibly rejuvenating. 🏊♀️ Excellent Facilities: The hotel features its own pool and lounge area. After a day of activities, a dip and some sunbathing really enhanced the holiday vibe. The room was spacious, the bedding soft and comfortable, and it was spotlessly clean. The facilities were complete and modern, perfectly meeting our travel needs. 💁♀️ Attentive Service: The front desk staff were warm and professional. Upon check-in, they proactively introduced the hotel facilities and provided local tips for sightseeing. Any requests were promptly handled, showing great attention to detail that made us feel very welcome. 📍 Convenient Location: The hotel’s location is superb. It’s easy to park if you're driving, and you can also walk to Queenstown center with ease, making dining, shopping, and visiting attractions incredibly convenient. Our Queenstown trip with my friend was made even more perfect by this hotel. We will definitely choose it again next time we visit, and I highly recommend it to every traveler coming to Queenstown!

The hotel is situated on a hillside, offering a pleasant environment and a location quite close to the city center, about a 15 NZD Uber bike ride away. The in-room WiFi might not be great, but the view outside the window is beautiful.

Great resort. Though it is a little bit far from the centre, it is worth staying in the quiet air. The view from the room to the Remarkables is awesome. I love it.

The hotel is located on a large slope, directly facing the big lake with a beautiful view. However, there are not many restaurants nearby, and it's a bit far from the town center if you don't have a car. The room is quite spacious, and the facilities are sufficient and relatively clean.

The hotel facilities are outdated. Although it's advertised as a four-star, the overall room quality and amenities provided are below the average for a domestic business hotel. You can hear elevator noise from the room, and the hotel also accommodates Indian group tours without properly separating them from regular guests, which raises concerns about their capacity. They don't proactively provide disposable toiletries. The location is a bit far from the main city, but you do get a lake view.

First off, the room was located on a hillside, a bit far from the city center, which made getting around quite inconvenient. The worst part was that the cups weren't even cleaned properly; there was still toothpaste residue from the previous guest. The service was pretty mediocre, and the gym was out of order.

The person at reception was an Indian wearing a turban. I'm not sure if it was discrimination against Chinese people, but they gave us a room in the furthest, most secluded corner. The signal was also very poor; streaming videos was constantly buffering. All the pillows were incredibly high, making it feel like you'd get a stiff neck from sleeping on them. It was a very bad experience. Plus, it seems the hotel doesn't have a shuttle bus to town, so getting around is very inconvenient if you don't have a car. It's a 40-minute walk to town, and it's uphill and downhill.

Came to Queenstown for Chinese New Year. The price was reasonable, not too much of a hike. The two 1.5m beds were just perfect. Breakfast was also very good.

We arrived early in the morning and did an early check-in without a room. When we returned to the hotel in the evening, we were given room 225, which was right next to the elevator. Starting at 7 AM the next day, there was constant noise, which really affected our sleep.

Fast check in, enjoyed the stay with my family in our room with the magnificent lake view with mountains.

Overall was a very nice experience, service was good, upon check in was surprised to received a free room upgrade from a garden view room to a scenic lake and mountains views room, however a little disappointed surprised for the hotel informed about not a free parking for our vehicle to park overnight at the Hotel’s carpark 😐

Great setting close to the main township lovely staff and foods. Nice facilities just low water pressure in showers
