This hotel does everything very well - it’s a cozy, welcoming hotel that’s impeccably maintained, has very well designed, comfortable rooms, a wonderful cooked-to-order breakfast menu, a great wine and snacks happy hour around the lobby area with engaging staff and guest interaction, and most of all, a superb staff - from the reception team to the cooks and cleaning staff. Julian does and gets done everything you might need, knows everyone’s name, makes great suggestions for dining or places to visit. Just an impressive ‘can do’ attitude! Topping off all of this, is its location. It simply could not be better. There are other lodging options in town, some with fantastic views of the lake, some with excellent dining, at least one with both (Nest is an excellent restaurant). But they have a great drawback that’s the Queenstown Park Boutique hotel’s edge - you cannot walk to town from any of these other places. The QPBH is in a quiet part of town and within no more than a 10 minute walk from where all the action is. Indeed, if you truly want the best views in Queenstown, you’re less than a 10 minute walk from Skyline’s gondola. It’s a place where they make you feel home.
