They would go above and beyond to get things done and were friendlly at all times. The best thing is they would figure things out ahead for you so you don't have to think. Truly impeccable service. The Chinese Restaurant is also superb — one of the best Chinese restaurants we've had, anywhere!"

The butler at No. 63, Kong, was attentive and enthusiastic. He provided small gifts and told the performance times of the surrounding hotels. The front desk can also borrow Hanfu for taking photos. "A family of three came to Qufu for a pilgrimage and stayed at the Xingtan Hotel, which is definitely one of the wisest decisions on the trip! The hotel is close to the Confucian Temple, the environment is quiet, the design is elegant, but the most I want to like it vigorously, I must be alone. It is the hotel's parent-child room and butler service. The butler is exclusive to the docking, very kind! Actively ask about the itinerary, provide information on attractions and nearby food, use the wontons in the hotel at noon, the small fried yellow beef meat is fresh and tender, and the thick chef's wontons 300 meters away from the hotel at night. The hotel also provides yogurt and pastries, fruits and souvenirs at night. I spent a total of one and a half days in Qufu, visiting Qufu Sankong, Luohe Ancient Street, and Confucius Museum ☺️"

I dare not think that I will be carried away by mosquitoes outdoors in summer🙊🙊 Pick-up service: I contacted the housekeeper one day in advance and raised the demand, so it was very nice to arrange the pick-up, but it was not the hotel's car, but an online car-hailing🙈🙈It's better to have it than not🐒🐒 Hygiene: Because the overall house is relatively old, it is easy to give people a dirty feeling🙈In terms of details, the toilet is not cleaned well, and there is a thick circle of scale. There are also various marks on the washbasin. The basement must be very moldy. When I checked in, the housekeeper specifically said that the basement was no longer in use, so I didn't go down, but I could still smell a strong musty smell in the living room on the first floor. Service: The housekeeper is very responsible, and all the employees are very friendly and enthusiastic. Even the security uncle is very polite and can chat with you for a few words. The breakfast is also very rich. They don't ask you what you want to eat, and they serve the food directly to the table. The southerner said that he couldn't finish it at all, and didn't want to waste food, so he took a bag and packed it away."

"The hotel is only 10 minutes away from the gate of Confucius temple on foot. The traditional style and the statue of Confucius makes you feel like you are really here to visit this great philosopher’s city. The staff are friendly and they provide whatever you ask for. They gave us a book, a crad and a bookmaker as a gift. The breakfast was nice. The room was clean but yet could be cleaner. All in all, it works for visiting this historical city."

"During my trip to Qufu, Shandong, I stayed at the Zhige Hotel. The website said it opened in 2025, but upon arrival, I discovered it was a converted student dormitory, with a street across the street from the reception desk. The room was small, with the washbasin right at the entrance. There was no elevator, so the front desk staff helped us carry our suitcases up to the third floor. Upon entering, the room was immediately suffocated by a strong odor, and the staff quickly turned on the exhaust fan. Later, I discovered that across from the room was a factory building, with four large tanks, a chimney, and numerous pipes and wiring on the ground floor. The window in the room was secured with two ropes, allowing only a small opening, presumably to block out outside air. Guests staying at the hotel are advised not to book rooms on the east side. The breakfast was limited. The next morning, while we were having breakfast, they kept bringing us food. A plate of grapes arrived at 7:30 a.m., and they said there was watermelon, but by 7:45 a.m., after we finished our meal, it still hadn't arrived. We reported this to the front desk staff, who apologized and gave us a ruler. On our first night, around 8 PM, we called the front desk to request some clothes hangers (there were only two in the room). After a long wait, they still didn't arrive. The next morning, we told the front desk again, and they sent them to the room during housekeeping. When we returned at noon, they still hadn't arrived. We told the front desk again, and they went upstairs to get some hangers themselves. Also, there was a no-smoking sign in the room, but there was still an ashtray. For a new hotel like this, how can it get a 4.9 rating?"

"The hotel offers a serene atmosphere, beautiful scenery, and sophisticated design. Its location near the Confucius Mansion and Temple makes it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms, each with a small courtyard, add an extra touch of leisure and relaxation, which the kids absolutely loved. We spent two days exploring Qufu and stayed for two nights, choosing to dine exclusively at the Marriott. We sampled dishes from both the hotel's Western and Chinese restaurants and highly recommend their cuisine. A special mention goes to Daisy Zhang at the hotel's Chinese restaurant – her service was impeccable and wonderfully warm! We highly recommend a stay at the JW Marriott Qufu!"
