For the price we payed for this stay, the quality is not what we were expecting. Decamerón used to be a really good hotel chain in Colombia, but it seems that that is not the case anymore. The hotel is beautiful and the surrounding area is spectacular. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are nice, but could be improved in some aspects (e.g: cleanliness and maintenance). The food was the most disappointing bit for us. Most of the buffet dishes lacked taste and were overcooked in every meal and or restaurant. The "a la carte"menu from "La Fonda" restaurant was equally disappointing. The children's playground is quite outdated and so is the minigolf. The hotel chain had several sales agents harassing the guests ,trying to convince them to buy their all inclusive package. This in my opinion, was very annoying and made us feel uncomfortable. Sadly, I won't go back to any Decamerón after this experience.

It was a fantastic hotel to enjoy our holidays, the kindness of all the staff was awesome, we really enjoyed all the services, amenities, infraestructure, meals, shows and entertainments, etc. We recommend 100%, specially if your travel is with your family, no doubts!!

Hotel is beautiful, Great Rooms, comfortable and good space. Food needs to be improved, not well selected and needs to have careful preparation. Some staff members, specially for bar and snacks bar not very kind and answering question rudely.

Nice place between the field but with noisy environment is not recommended for rest. The music is for party, isn't for environmental music. Tasty food, friendly staff, awesome landscape, and nice rooms. Too expensive for this experience.

I only have good things to say about Decameron las Heliconias. It is a beautiful hotel with a style that is typical of the coffee region. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and clean. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The water pressure in the shower is great. The food is great and varied, and throughout the day, there's always something to eat. The hotel offers entertainment for the little ones and adults as well. It even has a dance club for those who enjoy dancing. The installations of the hotel are very spacious. It's very different from another hotel I visited where the swimming pool, the restaurant and the bar area were so closed together that it felt cramped. Hotel Las Heliconias is the opposite, very open. The personnel at Hotel Las Heliconias are very kind and respectful. They are very attentive to the guests' needs. Something else worth mentioning, this hotel is located in the countryside, and you would think that mosquitoes and flies are a nuisance for your vacation, well, not at all. The management does everything possible to keep these plagues from running your precious time at the hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, the check-in process was quick; the staff members a very corneous, nice and always sharing a smile. Finding a reservation for the dinner at the special restaurant was difficult. Also we couldn’t get reservations for lunch at the Panaca Hotel because they were only a few spots, despite we went early in the morning (bedore 7:00 am).
