Quinta San Felipe

Comfy bed. Simple clean bathroom. Surprisingly bidet is available. But no clothes hanger or hooks. It's really a short term hotel. Breakfast is simple. Late check in better ring the bell several times as there's no hotel signage.

Woman didn’t recognize our booking but luckily found us a room anyway. Wasn’t what we booked, but at least it was a place to sleep. No amenities we could enjoy. No shower soap, closed pool, breakfast was scant. More like a motel.

I booked this place for a two day wind-down near the airport after a long two month trip. It said it had a restaurant and pool (pictured) so I planned to stay on site and relax. When I arrived it turned out the pool and restaurant were closed?! There was no apology or explanation given, I was told I could “order delivery”. For five meals. Can you imagine the cost? And it’s beside the point, do they not think guests choose places to stay based on the facilities offered? I chose a this place for more than just a place to sleep. ******* were notified and put me in alternative accommodation. Beware.

Check-in was a little odd here, and it took a while to get sorted. The hot water wasn't working right in the hotel room; my husband was able to communicate this in his limited Spanish to the employee and this was resolved. We chose to stay in Tababela because we had an early flight in the morning. There was a soccer game across the street making quite a bit of noise, but we were able to drown that out with our noise machine. And then, a bunch of kids showed up in a party bus to have a pool party in the evening. Afterwards, they proceeded to run around the hotel grounds slamming doors. We had to change rooms in the middle of the night to move to a different building that was separate from this large group that was staying here. There is a gate that needs to be manually opened so we needed to wake the guy up in the morning to let us out.

It’s close to the airport which is very convenient for travelers arriving early in the morning or late at night. The front desk does not operate 24/7 and you have to ring a bell on the street to get access to the property. The restroom was not clean and it looked like the common areas have not been cleaned. We found empty bottles of liquor in the common kitchen/living room area.

Beautiful grounds We stayed here for a stop over. Very nice room, comfy beds and excellent included breakfast. The only con is that the rooms do not have heating or ac which means there is no air circulation so the room smelled very musty.

We had an incredibly disappointing experience during our recent stay. Despite booking months in advance, we arrived to find that the hotel was completely overbooked. Instead of honoring our reservation, they transferred us to their other location, which was farther away and far inferior in quality. The alternate hotel was a major downgrade: the pool was closed, there was no air conditioning or heat, the room was much smaller and outdated, and breakfast wasn’t offered early enough to accommodate our 7 a.m. departure. To make matters worse, when we left at 7 a.m., breakfast preparations hadn’t even started. Adding to the frustration, the hotel offered no discount or compensation for the inconvenience and lower-quality accommodations—despite the fact that the issue was entirely their fault. They also failed to respond to any messages I sent ahead of our stay. I had tried to arrange an airport transfer (a service they claim to offer), but after receiving no reply, we had to rely on Uber to reach the property. Overall, the lack of communication, accountability, and basic hospitality made this a very unpleasant stay. I would not recommend this hotel.
