My only negative was that breakfast service was very slow. Only one member of staff doing the breakfast service but the quality of the breakfast made up for the wait."

"We were very pleased with our room ( number 7) on the top floor. It had a large very comfortable bed and the shower was powerful. We liked the view over the roof tops. The stairs are narrow though so not easily accessible to infirm guests. The continental breakfast was adequate and included in the price. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Parking behind the hotel was great when we eventually found it!!"

"Booked two rooms for two nights taking our elderly in laws. Booked via secret escapes however the direct prices are very good too. Before we travelled I called the hotel and both rooms were on the third floor(attic) rooms however Dasha was very understanding and moved the in laws to a first floor room. Friendly reception and was nice to meet Dasha who is a credit to the hotel along with all others that we came across. Both rooms were very nice, the attic room was not large but still good with very comfy bed and very nice bathroom with 'rain' shower, our in laws would not have managed the stairs to the attic. Free parking was circa 7 minutes walk up the road and not a problem for us, we did manage to park outside the hotel, one of 5 spaces, on the second day but we were very lucky so don't expect to find a space. Breakfast was very nice with several options, table service which was a nice change. Didn't eat at the hotel in the evenings as many options outside very close by, just a 5 minute walk to the harbour or into town. Had drinks in the evenings at the hotel and chilled in the lounge area which has comfy seats. We ate at Il Tricolore Italian in the Town and A La Turka, the Turkish in the harbour, both are recommended."

"The hotel is located next to a roundabout, and we missed the entrance twice because it was dark and cars were driving too fast. Each time, we had to drive an extra 5 minutes to loop back. The hotel parking lot is quite spacious, and the rooms and dining area are also a good size. However, as usual, no complimentary bottled water was provided. There's a McDonald's just a two or three-minute walk away."

"San Clu Hotel is a very nice cost line hotel nearby all windows have a TV view to the sea except from the back side of the building. There is parking spaces outside front side and the back of the hotel. No parking restrictions. Walking distance the park and shore. Makes it altogether a perfect place for any summer holiday! "Lovely hotel that is beautifully situated over looking the harbour. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby. We were greeted warmly by the reception team and we had booked a room on the 3ed floor so we even had a member of staff help us with bags. Room was as expected was small but as advertised but all clean. Only downside we had is that we stayed for two nights and we did not have anyone come in and freshen up towels or tea and coffee facilities, we had to ask for toilet roll and some water as no water was provided in room which is unusual."

"A Hotel that we have often dismissed purely on the outward appearance …but my husband booked a 2 night stay for my birthday and we thought the location was excellent and the terrace for the excellent breakfast was an ideal place to watch the sea and tidal bird activity. My one gripe would be the constant dogs barking in the nearby houses…yes we had our windows open because of the heat but we would remind folk that a good night’s sleep is not possible with constant barking …for that reason we would not return."
