Bannaimong Treehouse
"The resort exceeded our expectations. It is an enchanting little spot on earth. Located directly on a small river (the water level was low), the very different houses are hidden in the jungle. Since the last pictures were uploaded, it has become even more overgrown, so that you can hardly see some of the buildings in their entirety. The furnishings are certainly very different. Our house certainly cannot be described as simple. The resort has definitely shown a love of detail. The lush greenery that surrounds you and the sound of the water make this place something very special. It is noticeable that very few western tourists seem to come here. Very few speak English and the menus do not contain the usual dishes. (Not even pad Thai). The resort seems to be very popular with young Thais in particular. There is a café in the center (on the river). It is a very nice place to sit. The kitchen is only open until 7.30 p.m., however."
The Blue Sky Resort@ Koh Payam ★★★
"The atmosphere is great, and it's not far from the pier. All the staff are very attentive and helpful. The best thing about this hotel is that all the staff are lovely."
The Galla Hotel ★★★
"Rooms, locationnand cleaning is good comparing with proper price. Unfortunately, I feel unflavored smell in lobby likely from waste treatment"
Mani Ranong Hotel
"Very clean and new hotel. Perfect for travelers."
HOP INN Ranong ★★
"The room is new, clean, the air conditioning is cool, and the bed is very soft. It seems like the room here has better soundproofing than other places."
Sook Hotel ★★★
"One of the newest and best hotel in town. Breakfast is average and overall 3.5 out of 5"
The Farm House Hotel Ranong ★★★
"It's better than I expected and very much worth the price. I didn't think there would be a hotel with such a good value and delicious breakfast in the actual city of Ranong. The room was of great quality, with very cool air conditioning and a good, clear TV. There's also an air purifier, and the lighting is brighter than in some five-star hotels. What I liked most was that the bathroom had a fan, so it wasn't too hot when I was doing my business. The water heater was excellent. The closet was decent enough. It might not have been soundproofed, but it wasn't a problem at all."
The Blue Sky Resort@Ranong ★★★★
"The resort looks old from the outside, but the staff provided excellent service."
Tanatnan Hotel ★
"Clean room"

Ziggy Stardust
"The location is good, but the rooms are a bit old."
Phayamas Private Beach Resort and Island Brew - Adults Only
"This is always a great pleasure. Staying at Phayamas is like being home but with much more luxury, with beautiful garden, awesome cuisine, beach, place to work and rest and the most beautiful and helpful staff!! We cannot wait to come back. See you next year."
Kohchangresortranong
"A property with rooms perched on stilts over the water, and a central restaurant open daily with excellent dishes. Just steps from Long Beach, the main beach. The island's only problem is the presence of minerals that turn the beaches black, resulting in a lack of seabed and colorful fish."
Nitiporn Resort Kohphayam & Seaagain Bar and Restaurants
"It's a great hotel with delicious food and family rooms. I recommend it! 😊"
The b Ranong Trend Hotel
"One night stop over love this arty/quirky hotel, convenient for restaurants and bars, has a pool, stayed here often, have recommended it to many friends who all enjoyed there stays, owner has a collection of pick up trucks and many other interesting objects 😁"
Baan Yamoo Ranong
"According to the quality and price, it's a pity that there is no elevator. The stairs to the upper floor are circular, making it numb with footsteps."
Rommai Rimnaam Resort
"The rooms were decent sized for couples, there’s outdoor swimming pool which was refreshing and the service was great the owner were very lovely and welcoming. Highly recommended!"
Flower Power Village
"We rented the peace and love villa for the 2 of us. Absolute worth every baht. It has a big sleeping/sitting room, nicely decorated, a nice veranda to sit and look over the fields and see the hornbills flying over, while sipping a cold beer. The villa even has a kitchen/fridge and of course a private hot water bathroom. We used at night the fans with open windows, but aircon is available at extra charge. The owners (both Italian) and their 3 dogs try to do everything for you to make your stay wonderful. They have also cheaper/smaller accommodations available. Excellent Italian (only fresh!) food restaurant. Nice swimmingpool, Beach 100m away. Don’t come here to party, but only to relax and enjoy nature, Italian food and hospitality. Tip: book straight with them and save 10%."
Ranong Garden Hotel
"Although newly renovated, the decor still has an 1980s guesthouse feel. If you just need a place to sleep, it's fine. It's relatively clean and parking is convenient. Also note that the room doesn't have a kettle or towels, only bath towels."
Ranong River View
"Very good service"
Dahla House Ranong
"The hotel consists of individual houses in a cozy area, away from the road, so it is very quiet. The room is clean, there is a table, a refrigerator, and a spacious bathroom. Overall, everything is great."
Baroque Boutique Resort
"A very unique little “resort”. Neat little houses imbedded by a beautiful garden well maintained and with a lot of charm. The owner has a special hobby in collecting antique furnitures, accessories dating back to baroque time…. But not only ;-) Very dedicated, professional and friendly staff are making sure you have all you need and feel as comfortable as possible. The resort is located right next a river (canal), not far away of national parks and the very traditional city Ranong with a market worth to check it out. It’s definitely a recommended place to stay for a couple of days or more. PS: part of the resort is also a restaurant and a kind of “French bakery” with delicious pastries and tasteful coffee."
