Albergo la Piazzetta

2-star hotels, but also 4 for cleaning and the fun rooms you have. The staff was very kind and willing to advise us where to visit and where to eat, carefully to meet any of our needs. The hotel is located in the centre of Rapallo, and is very comfortable and very comfortable with the breakfast and breakfast. I would give a good 10 for everything from cleaning to the management of the room, from location to courtesy and not least to the availability of staff. All perfect. I'll certainly return to this gracious hotel. Catia
Best Western Plus Tigullio Royal Hotel

The location of the hotel is good. Although it doesn't have its own beach, there is a small free public bath across the road with showers. There is a paid bath next to it, renting two chairs and an umbrella, 70 euros a day😱 is too exaggerated, we bought a parasol and a mat for only 35 euros and camped in the public bath. The beach conditions in the nearby town are better, and the price is only 45 Euros a day. Booked a sea view room with a nice view from the large balconies on both sides. The bar on the roof has a good view, 15 euros for a glass of cocktail, but there are free snacks, which is not bad👌
Miramare Hotel

I don’t understand some of the bad reviews. We had a WONDERFUL stay here at hotel Miramare. Check in was easy. Our rooms were nicely appointed- not as big or grand as many American hotels- but we’re not in America! It was perfect for our Italian vacation. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower door was off the track but no big deal. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the water. The location was absolutely perfect near many lively restaurants, gelato shops, and local stores. The town stayed lively until about 23:30. We we’re having such a good time we didn’t realize it was after midnight when returned to the lobby. Someone graciously opened the lobby door for us when we returned. The breakfast was included and it was wonderful. It included fresh ripe fruits, cheeses, tomatoes, meats, cereals, pastries, eggs, yogurts, coffee, tea, juices, and bottled waters. We checked out at 11 and they held our bags until we returned at 2pm. Overall beautiful hotel in a beautiful coastal town. Who could ask for anything more?

Lovely little gem of a hotel, in a good position. We visited in the high season, so busy in Rapallo. Lovely roof top terrace. Fantastic views. We walked to Santa Margherita along the coast. Good pavements to walk on. Amazing views. This walk is a must ! We stopped off to have a swim in the bay San Michele. Lovely, clear water. Take water shoes if you can remember! The room in the hotel was fine. Clean, tidy. Typically Italian, small and friendly. Teeny bathroom, but didn’t bother us. Fridge in room handy. It is on a busy road, however never bothered us. 5 to 10 min walk to centre. The staff were very lovely and friendly. You need book a car park space in advance. We did this, it wasn’t in a secure spot. But off road opposite the hotel. Would definitely return!

Small hotel at a busy junction but a great base for exploring the beautiful town and surrounding areas . Short walk to the train station and to the seafront and ferry to local towns . Rooms a little dated but very comfortable , spotlessly clean, with air conditioning , a small fridge, a safe and a well maintained bathroom with very good quality towels . Noisy traffic outside but good quality double glazing soundproofed the room . Small roof terrace was a nice space to relax and take in the sea views after a busy day sightseeing Continental breakfast was good with very good freshly made coffee . The staff were the stars in this hotel , they were welcoming , friendly and happy to help with trying to organise trips . Their recommendations for lesser known areas to visit made our holiday . The lady who looked after us at breakfast was always friendly and welcoming despite our language barriers .
