The room is very beautiful, clean and has a good environment. I will choose this one next time!

The hotel is just opposite the train station and there are supermarkets around, which is very convenient. The breakfast is rich in variety, and the restaurant staff are enthusiastic and remember what kind of coffee the guests who have stayed for a few days like to drink.

I stayed here when I came to Switzerland. It is very convenient for travel and the surrounding facilities can definitely meet the needs of business travel.

My sister and I stayed here just for a night. Reception was wonderful, quick check in process. Location right across from the train station is so convenient. Unfortunately when we arrived it was pouring so did not walk around the town of Rapperswil. The bed was comfortable, we did have trouble working the tv, but I think we were just tired. Breakfast was also wonderful. Quality selections, lots of healthy options and good coffee. Would definitely recommend.

Not happy with the service at this hotel at all. I would not suggest anyone to stay at this hotel. It is sad that I sit for 5 hours waiting on a hotel room. It is approaching 3 PM when my room is scheduled to be turned over to me but it does not look as if this is going to happen.

Perfect location, the room we had was big and clean on the last floor with a nice terrace, in room we found fresh fruits, cookies and bottles of water. Breakfast was very good, really friendly staff. Private parking near the hotel.

Everything during our stay was perfect, starting with the warm and friendly receptionist, the nice, clean room and including the rich breakfast buffet. Tip: If you like to sleep with your window open, choose a room without a view

Older hotel upgraded with new furniture and facelift. All staff very friendly. The breakfast buffet is small but fresh products. You can still practice a little with the scrambled eggs. But the friendly service made up for it. Coffee portions in the room are not enough like in all hotels... and tell me... who wants decaffeinated coffee? But this is also a misery in all hotels. Gladly again.

The room was big enough and the beds comfortable. However, the balcony is very small, only a chair and a small table were available there. Otherwise the description on the hotel's website is correct.

The service was first class : friendly, prompt, informative and helpful. We had a luxury room at the front with a balcony. In this spacious room you have everything: coffee machine, hair dryer, ironing board and iron, great mattresses and pillows to choose from. Everything was exquisite. A nice bar and a great Asian restaurant : japanese, thai and chinese. A beautiful terrace and lounge sofas at the bar.

ein tolles Hotel, mitten im _Zentrum von Rapperswil. Kürzeste Wege zum historischen Zentrum, zum Schloss, zu Geschäften, zur Seeterrasse, zu Knie‘s Kinderzoo und zur Holzbrücke über den Zürichsee (nach Hurden). Tolle Restaurants und Cafés in der Umgebung und das asiatische Restaurant Sayori. Das Hotel ist (und wird aktuell noch in Teilbereichen) frisch renoviert. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind toll, liebenswürdig und vollkommen dem Gast zugewandt. Das Houskeeping nimmt stark Rücksicht auf die Wünsche der Gäste und das ganze Hotel ist Topsauber. Das Frühstück gibt es in Buffetform. Von Kaffee, Tee, über Fruchtsäfte, frisches, teils noch Ofenwarmes Brot und Croissants, Wurst, Käse, Joghurt, Müsli, frischenfrüchten, Marmelade, bis hin zu Rührei, gebr. Speck und Fleischbällchen - es fehlt an nichts! In Nähe der Rezeption gibt es eine „Nespresso“-Maschine mit gratis Kaffepads, eine Wasserstation zum selberzapfen und beides gratis! Auf Vertrauensbasis gibt es dort auch Wein, Bier, Softdrinks, Chips, Ricola-Bonbons und viele andere leckere Sachen zum Snacken. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Leistung dieses ausgezeichneten Hotels und sagen „ganz besonders herzlichen Dank“!

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in Hotel Sorell Speer. Dieses Mal nicht alleine als Paar, sondern mit meiner Mutter. Ich habe die beiden Zimmer lange im voraus gebucht, direkt über Hotel (Kette). Mein Wunsch: zwei Zimmer nebeneinander oder vis à vis. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir behandelt als ob wir noch nie in diesem oder einem anderen Sorell gewesen wären. Ein „Willkommen zurück“ hätte uns gefreut. Zimmer lagen dann zwar auf der gleichen Etage, aber nicht nebeneinander. Das hat uns enttäuscht. Besonders da es unser einziger Wunsch war. Die Zimmer ok. Schön sauber. Parkettboden. Keine Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer, Dusche in der Badewanne, Möbel erinnern an 80er Jahre. Alles ok, aber nicht für den Preis. Frühstück: klassisch. Nichts aussergewöhnliches. Es gibt immer noch nur zwei Säfte und nicht wie in den anderen Sorell eine Auswahl von fünf+. Warum der Tee im kleinen Espresso Tassli serviert wird erschloss sich uns allerdings nicht. Nettes Personal. Beim auschecken auch alles sehr 0815. Kein „bis bald“ „gute Reise“,…immerhin wurde ein Wasser für auf den Weg. Global gesagt: wir fühlten uns nicht ganz willkommen, unser Wunsch wurde nicht berücksichtigt und auch nicht korrigiert als ich dies beim Check in sagte, das Frühstück ok. Preis Leistung stimmte an dem Wochenende für uns persönlich nicht.

Bien centré enfance gare mais avec climatisation fraîche super bien dormi. Petit déjeuner excellent parking public à 100 m mais avec étage pour hôtel. Nous allons pour la 2ème fois dans cet hôtel et nous y retournerons. La jeune réceptionniste était vraiment agréable bravo !
