Best Hotels in Raub, Malaysia

the service staffs are very polite. we booked 1 twins room and 1 family room. there's no lift in this hotel, so if traveling with elderly probably need to choose room at the ground floor. but the activities (hotel backrooms) are happen there, so probably not suitable for those light sleeper. for twin room located ground floor, there is no window. with standing shower. for family room located first floor, it's very big with 2 king size beds. with bathtub(climbing of stairs required. we have 1 big luggage, so it's pretty challenging to carry it up and down). the bad points. 1)the toilet flooring is so slippery when it's wet. the hotel did place a pair of flip flop in the room but my granny doesn't feel comfortable wearing it. will be great if they can treat the floor with non slip solution or place non slip mat. 2) the bathtub is very high. so short people like us is quite difficult to climb in and out and there's no grip handles near. so it's quite dangerous for elderly. since the bathroom is big, it will be great if they can install standing shower. the basin pipe is spoil, so if you turn up for heavier flow of water, the water will spill from the pipe, causing wet floor. the bathroom room floor is very slippery too. 3) carpet for both rooms required cleaning badly. when we walk without shoe after shower, our soles will be all dirty when we reach the bed. hope these will be improved. it will be a better place to stay.

I have stayed at this place twice within the past several months. Let's start with what they do well at this place: 1) room size - the room is a good size, depending on what you have booked. 2) location - convenient, easy to locate, and ample parking. Easy access to shops as it is at the edge of the town 3) parking - ample parking 4) hospitality and service - great service at the counter. Friendly and hospitable 5) good mattress Not so good review: 1) housekeeping - I will give this a 1 out of 5 for both stays. The floor does not seem to be vacuumed well, with hair (of all kinds of length) in the sink, bathroom, and entrance. 2) edges of the toilet and sink are not cleaned well. You can see dirt formation behind the toilet as well as the water outlet in the sink. A good spray of bleach and a good scrub may do the job. I have seen several times where the housekeepers just sweep the floor without mopping or even vacuuming. The first time I stayed there, I did ask for a change of room thinking they lack the staff to clean. It was after all right after the lockdown. But to experience it for the second time was not acceptable.

Fast check in and out. The location is the best, stayed in deluxe room with a golf view, but the room need some upgrades, especially the carpet and the furniture. Cleanliness of the room is average, because there's few dried orange seeds on the carpet floor, I guess the cleaner must have been blind spotted (as the color of the seeds and carpet are almost the same). There's no telephone in the room but the tv is updated. Side lamp does not work (need to change the bulb) but it did not bother me that much. It is just an average hotel but comfy room to stay. Its not a bad hotel, but upgrade your room please. Give some vibrant color.

The apartment need new looks, parking limited since its a apartment. No kitchen facilities such as microwave plates etc. But overall I enjoyed staying with my family,
