Hotel Kick

A bad start and then a sharp decline is the best way to describe it. It started with the fact that despite having phoned to register for check-in after 7 p.m., no one was there. You can also check in yourself, which wouldn't be a problem if there wasn't a list of names with room numbers, which isn't possible for data protection reasons. The restaurant was also already closed despite my request and I was directed to McDonalds or the Rewe supermarket over the phone to get something there. The hotel also has no elevator and you have to go up the stairs with all your luggage. The room was fine at first glance. I quickly moved the table that had been set up instead of the bedside table to the side because it extended into the bed and would have been in the way. The usual information folder was integrated into the menu in the room, which you have to find first. You can also find the WiFi password there. It is strange when the information in a German hotel is initially in Russian and even the German translation is partly in Russian. The room was not cleaned thoroughly the whole time, which I documented in the photos with the crumbs on the table and the hair in the sink that had been there for 4 days. It may also be surprising why there is an empty shampoo bottle mounted next to the sink. The temperature in the shower was difficult to adjust as the water was either scalding hot or ice cold. The mattress was awful and you felt like you were on a trampoline. On the last evening I visited the restaurant and ordered the highly praised German-Ukrainian menu. The soup was completely tasteless colored water with a few pieces of potato, meat and pepper as an ingredient. The main course consisted of a kind of garlic rice, 2 frozen chicken nuggets, 2 dry burnt pieces of meat, a sliced ​​gherkin, some beetroot from a jar, a cold piece of pizza (also with garlic), potato wedges and a carrot salad that tasted so strongly of garlic that it was inedible. The dessert consisted of 4 pieces of dried cake, 3 slices of banana, 1 slice of orange and a spoonful of jam. With all this, it's no surprise that the room price is increased by a parking fee of €10 per day. The location in the middle of an industrial area, where you have to make several inconvenient turns, fits the overall impression. I will definitely not stay here again and if you add up the room price and the parking fee, you get a decent hotel for the price.

Grund-solides und -komfortables Hotel in Autobahnnähe, jedoch trotzdem in ruhiger, ländlicher Umgebung (liegt in einem kleinen Gewerbegebiet). Zimmer sind geräumig, Bad ebenso. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig und gut, der Service ist sehr höflich und Service-orientiert. Parken kostet 6,00 EUR pro Tag.
