This Premier Inn was the best we have ever been too. We slept very well even though the A127 was within 30-40 yards away as the double glazing was fantastic. The room was very clean and tidy, the shower room was the height of cleaness. Our bed was very comfortable. The service at breakfast was quick and efficient , the food arrived piping hot and tasted fresh. The whole experience was lovely and would highly recommend to others. As it wasnt far from Southend seafront we was able to take a trip there knowing we would ne coming back to comfort. Will be staying at this particular hotel again.

Booked a room after a poor experience elsewhere nearby. It was nice to walk into a bright, airy reception and be greeted by a friendly staff member for a quick check in. The room (which is the next evolution style) was clean and tidy. The bed was comfy, a great shower, and the HDMI socket on the wall was handy for connecting the Xbox to. Despite being on a main road, the windows drown out most of the noise for a pleasant stay. An added bonus, free parking!

Giving this 5 stars for the usual comfortable stay. It's quiet here considering how close it is to the a127 and an industrial estate. The room was clean and tidy with good mood lighting like the purple bathroom and the light atop the headboard. Shower, TV, kettle, wardrobe, and desk, were all fine. Staff were polite. Easy key card access. Great place for a short stay. Only negatives was that it's not an ideal location if you wanted to look around somewhere other than Rayleigh. You'd need to drive. There is a Sainsbury's and a Macdonald's across the roundabout though. The room was also a little dusty in places, but no big deal. Would stay again for convenience. Many thanks

I stayed from Thursday-Sunday. My dad stayed in a separate room downstairs. My bedroom and bathroom were clean and well furnished. The receptionist was helpful and friendly when I arrived. The assistant in the restaurant was helpful when I asked where the water was and the receptionist also helped me find and directed me to my dad’s room on the floor below. Unfortunately my stay was ruined by the noise. I realised that it was not in the quietest location at Rayleigh weir and luckily my room faced the car park. However on Friday night from 11-1.30 the fire doors in the hallway and bedroom doors banged loudly making it hard to sleep. Children also ran down the corridor laughing . At approximately 6.30 am a lorry arrived and sounded as if they were unloading beer kegs or a heavy load. On Saturday night the same started happening in the evening but I bought ear plugs so that I could sleep better. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Wheres the wifi? Free, but obviously paid for, wifi was un-connectable. We were belatedly offered a free premium wifi upgrade, towards the end of our stay, but that only worked for 1 device and left us once again, (we have stayed many times for family visits), with no usable connection. Very poor show Premier Inn we warned you many times before posting a bad review. Staff were great BTW.

We stayed at the Premier Inn At Rayleigh Weir for three nights because it is conveniently situated on the A127, close to our friends’ house. The receptionist on our arrival - sorry, I did not see his name - greeted us warmly and was very pleasant. A second keycard was available. Our room on the first floor faced the very busy A127, but the triple glazing meant that you could not hear a sound from outside. The room and bathroom were immaculate, with fluffy towels and toiletries. You have to request the room to be cleaned, which is still strange, especially when you stay for more than one night. As always, the beds were comfortable and there were sufficient pillows. All staff greeted us politely and the overall impression was that they enjoyed working there. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel, or other meals in the associated Harvester as we were dining with friends. We enjoyed the stay.
