I am writing to express my disappointment with the quality of my recent stay. Despite the hotel’s prestigious reputation, I encountered several issues that significantly affected my comfort and ability to rest after a busy day of work. During my stay, I observed and experienced the following: The shower tray and outlet were not fixed properly, causing inconvenience and potential safety concerns. The bathroom and room had not been properly cleaned; there were hairs present, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. The carpet appeared unclean, with visible staining/unsanitary appearance. Maintenance work began early in the morning, resulting in loud banging on the walls and a disturbed sleep. As a guest, I expect a clean, well-maintained room and a peaceful environment to unwind after a demanding day. This experience fell well short of that expectation and of the standard I associate with your brand.

This is a relatively quiet hotel with a small courtyard. There's a small convenience store a two-minute walk away, which is great for grabbing essentials. A larger Boots pharmacy and a supermarket are about a 20-minute walk or two bus stops away.
