Ganter Hotel & Restaurant Mohren

We spent 2 nights in this hotel with our association of 22 members, everything was perfect, especially the breakfast, the great class and the staff at the top, very professional, thank you see you soon. The room is very large and the bathrooms are very clean.

Room is small, to get into bed you have to cleverly avoid the TV (on the wall👍) and surround the bed on the wall. No storage space by the bed, so for people who wear glasses 🤨 can they just put it on the floor? Only one place to sit outside the bed, the desk is a folded-out board. The bathroom is spacious, but there is no storage or hanging space there either, towels are on the window hook, bath towels and bathrobes are "hung" on the shower wall, there would be space for hooks or a small shelf, and so everything was on the floor or spread out differently.——— Breakfast was 🤩 great, we enjoyed a candlelight dinner in the restaurant🥂

I was very pleasantly surprised by the kindness and attention of the staff. From reception to the restaurant, everyone was very kind despite the fact that we don't really speak German. We were able to communicate in English, although my English is not excellent. The room was large, the bedding very comfortable. There was an Italian shower which I particularly like! And we were able to eat at the restaurant in the evening, it was really excellent.

We understand that there are not as many staff anymore... But those who are there are very friendly and helpful.

Central location and good starting point for activities around Konstanz. Friendly and helpful staff. The attic rooms now have mobile air conditioning in the summer. The fruit in the room could be dispensed with. It doesn't turn you on. But the breakfast buffet is very well stocked. Parking spaces are now subject to a fee. The concept of putting notes behind the windshield is a bit cumbersome. In this case, giving your license plate number at reception might be sufficient.

We stayed at the Hotel Mohren for one night with a small child and can recommend it, but rather without children. The hotel is older but has been renovated, you can see that inves**ents are constantly being made here, there is no backlog of renovations. The location and parking facilities couldn't be better, that gets 5 points! We only visited the restaurant for breakfast, which was very cozy, but a bit dark and not ideal for us with a small child. For couples without children, however, it would certainly be great to spend a few good hours. We also got a high chair, so everything was fine. The breakfast was great, by the way! The room was big enough to feel comfortable, the bathroom was tiny, but it's 3* and not 5, so it's fine! It was a bit warm at night, though, so I just aired it out and that was it. The staff were friendly throughout. I can't say anything bad about this hotel, maybe just that we personally don't like the decor that much, it's just not our style, but that's a matter of taste. We wouldn't come here with our child in the future either, because we felt like we were the only ones with a child. It was mostly older couples looking for peace and quiet. But that could also be due to the time of year, perhaps it's different during the summer holidays. All in all, this hotel is absolutely recommended!
