Domaine les Crayères

Our experience at Domaine Les Crayères was absolutely incredible , a perfect blend of French elegance, history, and warm hospitality. Nestled in Reims, this legendary five-star Relais & Châteaux property truly lives up to its reputation as one of the most beautiful hotels in the world. The team were exceptional and very kind:) The Food was 10/10 Both Restaurant experience were just wonderful:) 100% recommend this hotel, so Elegant and Classic:)

I deeply regret having to write this, but I believe it's important to share our experience so others can be properly informed before booking. I recently stayed at Domaine Les Crayères in July 2025. After check-out, a valuable personal item — an iPad — was accidentally left behind in the room. The hotel promptly confirmed that the item had been found. We were advised to pay for the return shipping through a third-party service recommended by the hotel. We followed all instructions precisely, paid the fee, and trusted the hotel to handle this process responsibly. However, weeks later, the parcel has gone missing, and no one — neither the hotel nor the third-party shipper — is able to confirm what happened to it. What’s worse: The hotel refuses to clarify who on their staff physically handed the item to the courier. They will not provide the name of the person responsible for choosing the shipping method. There is no accountability from the management despite repeated and professional communication. As of now, we have no idea where the parcel is, and no one has taken ownership of the situation. We have received only vague responses, deflections, and empty apologies. For a hotel of such high standing and reputation, this level of disorganization and complete lack of responsibility is not just disappointing — it is absolutely unacceptable. I would strongly caution other guests — especially those traveling with valuables — to think twice about relying on this hotel’s support or integrity in case something goes wrong.

Celebrating our wedding anniversary with a trip to Paris for a week, then off to Reims for three days. We can't say enough about this exceptional property. From castle to hotel this is a modern marvel. Les Crayeres is beautiful, the architecture is stunning, the precisely manicured ground were impeccable. Our Chambre Prestige Impératrice Joséphine was step back in time with fantastic bed, well appointed furniture/art work and a balcony overlooking the grounds. We enjoyed both restaurants, one a two star Michelin and the other more causal. The staff was truly professional and attentive.

I had an amazing stay at Domaine Les Crayères and it made the trip to Champagne much more memorable. The team is fantastic, very friendly and extremely helpful. The restaurants onsite are amazing (especially the Jardine was excellent) Imho best property to stay at in champagne

We enjoyed 4 nights at Domaine Les Crayeres during our visit to the Champagne region. We arrived early directly from CDG and were fortunate to have our room ready. From the welcome to the departure, the service was outstanding and properly attentive. The room, the dining area, the gardens and the lobby were all well decorated and beyond reproach. Location was good for visiting the champagne houses but not as convenient for restaurants. Highly recommend.
