We stayed two nights on a dinner B&B package with afternoon tea on the second day. The hotel was quite busy with two weddings and a birthday party while we were there, but the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout our stay despite this! Every meal we had was excellent, the food was top quality and the service again was efficient and friendly. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Had a lovely two night break. D BB . The food was very good, what made it so special was the excellent staff especially Rhiann, Sally and the lady in the restaurant who went out of there way to make our visit special with lots of care and advise, the walks were great and right next to the hotel. Sadly the room was a little dated but fine nothing to complain about. I would definitely recommend this hotel , oh and we had the best fish and chips we had had for years !

Visited for Mothers Day Sunday Lunch menu. Had the 3 course menu which was good value for money. We all had the roast beef dinner which was extremely tasty and tender. We were looked after by the staff and service was on point. The only niggle we had was that it was cold in the restaurant.

Nice size room, comfortable bed, only snag is pillows a little bit hard . But overall nice clean room. The Food in the hotel bar lounge was superb, with excellent service nice friendly staff. Had a really nice stay and would definitely come back.

I had a very poor experience in the restaurant. The starter, a fish cake was dry with a limp salad whilst the Chicken Tikka Masala was very disappointing - the sauce was like a very thick, very spicy tomato soup whilst the meal came without naan bread. Over the years I’ve eaten many Chicken Tikka Masala dishes but the one I encountered yesterday was not a good example. I will not be repeating this experience.

Another lovely meal at the Sitwell Arms. The new menu is fab and I'm looking forward to going back next week with friends. The staff were exceptionally busy but smiled their way through it and were very pleasant throughout. The new menu made it difficult to choose as it all looked lovely. However I chose the lamb which was just perfect.

Had a beautiful meal last night from the new menu, My Beef Wellington was cooked to perfection 👌🏼 The service was great and our food came out in perfect timing from starter to main to dessert! Just could do with some fans dotted around to keep us cool!
