This beautiful hotel is a renovated 15th century Venetian mansion house, wonderfully located for exploring Rethymno Old Town. The rooms are simply and nicely furnished. We stayed in room 105 which is light and airy and has a small balcony over-looking the courtyard. The staff are excellent – helpful and friendly. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the Old Town, yet the hotel provides a calm and peaceful place to stay. Numerous restaurants and cafés are close by and the Venetian Harbour, Fortezza, museums and the beach are all within a few minutes’ walk, as are the Municipal Gardens. We can highly recommend this hotel.

Ideal for a romantic getaway. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean and comfortable. Great location to explore the old town of Rethymno. Situated near really nice restaurants and bars. Excellent breakfast. The staff were very polite, friendly and accommodating.

Hotel with renewed facilities. It is in the center of the city. Everything is at hand. Although our stay was not pleasant because we were given a room on the ground floor full of humidity. The atmosphere was unbearably wet. It should not be occupied by guests in winter. Breakfast was very complete, but nobody was there to replace food.

Great shopping and restaurants within very short walking distance. However, the property is not accessible by car so you have to haul your suitcases a couple of blocks.

My partner and I had a wonderful experience at the Veneto Hotel and Restaurant. We were impressed with the venue, food, and staff. It's a shame that the review only allows 5 stars because they definitely deserve more. We found the hotel's location to be convenient, with many great sites, restaurants, and beaches within walking distance. The rooms were unique and fantastic, with modern and clean bathrooms that were of a very high standard. During our stay, we had the pleasure of being served by Raphael, Spyros, Daniel, and Manthos, who were all incredibly helpful and attentive. Manos, Marinos, and Elena assisted us greatly with our late check-in and provided us with helpful information about local gyms, bus times, and directions. Agapl and Chryssa made our breakfasts a pleasant experience every morning. Lastly, Mary, Olga, and Olga (2) efficiently cleaned and serviced our room in a timely manner to accommodate our schedule. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning next year!

Very good location. Big parking lot close to the hotel. Very clean and lovely decorated rooms. Only problem as a small boutique hotel, there is no sitting area at the entrance. They are running a good restaurant downstairs. Breakfast was good. Lots of fresh prepared local goods.

My family and I had dinner in Veneto a couple of times during our stay in Rethimnon this August. We keep coming back for a few years now and we are always super excited to visit and taste the food there. The food is super tasty , prepared with fresh and local ingredients. The recipes are Cretan with a twist and we always order the white wine that the owners produce locally. Also kudos to the staff who are always super friendly and helpful! Hope to come back again soon !

Stunning is the right word for everything in this hotel and for old town of Rethymno.Beautiful hotel lovely lovely staff and we’ll be definitely back.We can highly recommended this hotel because you can feel the old soul of the building and you’ll be spoiled by staff as a family member.We wish this could happen in all around the world.If you like atmosphere like from romantic movie go over there.
