I happened to catch the total solar eclipse, so it was quite expensive, but this apartment, though small, had everything I needed. It's self-check-in, so make sure to check the password sent to your email. It's within walking distance of the main street, and there's a Pingo Doce supermarket just a three-minute walk away. The room has cutlery and an induction hob, which was very convenient.

The location isn't super close to the city center, but there's a Pingo Doce supermarket nearby, and it's only about a 20-minute walk to the center. The room is a bit small, but perfectly fine for one person.

This hotel offers decent overall value for money, especially considering it's peak season in Reykjavik. Although the room isn't huge, the layout is well-designed. You can easily open up a 26 or 30-inch suitcase, and there are extra storage drawers under the bed. A minor drawback is that the shower sometimes has a drain smell at night. The hotel provides free shared laundry facilities (washer and dryer), which is very convenient. It's self check-in, so you generally won't see staff, but if you have any questions, you can contact them online and usually get a response within 5-10 minutes. There's a supermarket within a 5-minute walk, and while it's a bit of a walk from the city center, it's only about 15-20 minutes on foot.

Found my favorite apartment! It's clean, the window view is amazing, and it's fully self-service from start to finish. Free towel refills, free laundry and dryer, free coffee, and a full set of kitchen supplies. I feel like I could live here forever, I love it so much. It's also very close to the Pig Supermarket and Stop12, the meeting point for day tours. It's fantastic! 🥹

The location is decent, about a 10-minute walk from bus stop 12, which is convenient if you have an early tour. However, it's quite a trek from the city center restaurants, about a 30-minute walk. The hotel staff (housekeeping/customer service) were really unhelpful. On our first day, there was no hot water for the shower, and despite promising to send someone to check, they completely forgot. When I followed up, they insisted I send a video, even after I told them I wouldn't be back until 10 PM. They just kept pushing for the video. Also, the washing machine was constantly locked, and I have no idea why, especially since it wasn't even during quiet hours. Overall, I had a pretty bad impression of this apartment.

Reykjavik is generally expensive, but this apartment was relatively affordable. Although the room wasn't huge, the kitchen and TV, along with everything else, were well-equipped, making for a great stay. It's quite a distance from the city center and the coast where you can see the Northern Lights, but there's a supermarket right nearby and the lively downtown area is close as well, which made it very convenient.

The accommodation was well-maintained with toiletries provided and laundry service available. The location was excellent, right next to a supermarket and close to bus route 12, making it very convenient for day tours. Highly recommended!
