Canopy by Hilton Reykjavik City Centre

This hotel is great value for money! 1500 per night including breakfast, and the food was incredibly satisfying! The salmon was fresh, paired with yogurt and cereal – nutritious and delicious 🥗. The atmosphere is also comfortable; the warm lighting at night is perfect for a trip with friends 🌆. I'll definitely come back next time!

I stayed at two hotels in Lei City, and this one had a great location, excellent room facilities, and a fantastic breakfast. They also have beautiful public areas, and all the staff were very friendly. The restaurant staff, in particular, were professional and welcoming, clearing plates promptly. The breakfast quality was high. The only downside was that the curtains didn't fully block out the light.

This is one of the most conveniently located hotels, but the shower curtain used for the bathroom partition felt a bit uncomfortable, and it was a bit noisy downstairs. However, the breakfast was quite good. This hotel was the only place during my stay in Iceland where I felt the service needed improvement. Even after I explained that I was in a hurry to check out because I needed to catch a bus, the front desk staff seemed to be training a new employee or something, which made me quite anxious while waiting. However, the front desk looked small and didn't seem to have many staff, so I can somewhat understand if they're understaffed. The strangest thing is that for a hotel at this price point, it didn't provide slippers, while the nearby Edition and Hilton Nordica both did. It made my stay feel a bit inconvenient. Overall, the location is excellent, so it's still worth staying here.

Aside from the high price and the slightly confusing layout of the rooms and restaurant, which felt like a maze, everything else from breakfast to the room itself, and even the service, was excellent. If I had another chance, I would probably stay here again.

The breakfast was incredibly rich and high-quality. However, while the room itself was spacious, the facilities were too basic. The service also needs improvement; for example, we arrived at the hotel early in the morning and, despite being able to store our luggage for free, we couldn't check into our room until 3 PM. The wait was far too long! They really need to be more flexible and manage things better.

Terrible service! The woman at the reception demanded a 50,000 CZK deposit! Our card didn't work, and we offered US dollars, which she flat-out refused! We were practically kicked out of the hotel! We had to walk in the cold to find another hotel! How can they even have staff who are so unaccommodating and completely unwilling to compromise with a customer?! What a truly nasty woman!!! She even ran off to the back room!!! This hotel is an absolute nightmare!!!

Pretty good. It's in the city center, so it's convenient to walk everywhere.
