A great place to stay!
Our host gave us a very friendly welcome, they were super helpful throughout. The room was large, clean, well appointed and quiet. Plenty of parking on site and the high street and lots of eating out options are a few minutes walk away.

Great place to stay and explore the area, Paul the owner was very friendly, off road parking, good breakfast and room was very clean, I even booked a extra nights stay! I would happily book a room again. what more could I say. Local attractions, mountain pass towards Devils Bridge, good views of reservoirs and dams, Red Kite feeding centre

Booked a 3 night stay to visit the redkites feeding sites nearby. We were welcomed and given useful information about other photography opportunities from the ones we had researched and local places to eat out. We booked the downstairs twin room as a door opens up to a pleasant courtyard. Breakfast was home cooked and delicious. Thanks Paul and Laura, we really enjoy our time at your guesthouse.

It was ok, room was clean and breakfast was good. I thought they have a restaurant but no, tap water in the sink takes a while to warm up. Paul was a lovely host.

We stayed at The Horseshoe guesthouse for 3 nights in July 2024. The guest house was clean and tidy, breakfast was great and Paul and Laura were super friendly. A real pleasure and if we travel back to the Elan Valley we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Our room was a big double with an en-suite. The guesthouse is nice and central with Rhayader (not that the town is massive!) and is in easy striking distance of Elan Valley and other local attractions. Recommended.

I stayed here for 1 night the hotel itself is very clean and well presented and Paul (The proprietor of the hotel) was very polite and accommodating the hotel is very close to the town centre without being too close my room (5) although a medium sized room was very clean and excellently presented

Excellent
Made very welcome by Paul on arrival. Excellent car parking facilities. Good size clean room and en suite. Bed was a little small for me but there again most are. Excellent choice for breakfast and very enjoyable and tasty. Will stay again
