Not a true five-star experience. We arrived in the early hours and were immediately mischarged for the tourist tax. At 2:00 a.m., we were called back downstairs to fix it. There was no welcome drink, despite it being advertised. There weren’t enough sun loungers, so we had to pay €80 for a larger bed that supposedly included cocktails, water, and a fruit salad — only part of which ever arrived. The room was nice but felt more four-star than five. The door lock was broken, cleaners knocked from 8:30 a.m., and one even walked in while we were getting dressed. Room service didn’t go through via the app, and when we rang instead, it eventually arrived cold. There’s also a €10 surcharge for room service, along with several other hidden charges during our stay. Staff were quite standoffish, the whole place felt disorganised, and the service overall was poor. Multiple errors occurred throughout our visit. Location-wise, there’s very little nearby — just a small supermarket and a beach we weren’t informed about. To get to Lindos, you’ll need a €12–18 taxi or face a 50-minute walk. Overall: Disappointing for a hotel marketed as five-star. Would not return or recommend.
