Kamari Beach Hotel

This was my first time to Kamari Beach and first experience of a 'Mark Warner' holiday alongside my girlfriend and her family (who have all previously stayed here with Mark Warner before). Our room was very basic and quite tired, chipped furniture, damaged drawers, flickering lights and a very cramped tired bathroom. Throughout our stay none of the toiletries (shower gel/shampoo etc) were replaced but the room was cleaned daily and the housekeeping staff were all very friendly. The sports facilities (paddle and tennis courts) and other leisure equipment (sail boats, paddle boards, kayaks etc) were all of a good quality and very simple to book and use. The main pool and the newer 'adult only' pool were very nice, but some of the pool side furniture looked worse for wear, especially the sunbed cushions and supplied beach towels. The hotel manager, George, is a fantastic asset to Mark Warner and had time for everyone at the hotel. He seemed to be present from dawn until late in the evening and was a friendly face to chat to in passing. The food was good and restaurant staff friendly and helpful at lunch and evening meal. Overall, I enjoyed our stay at Kamari thanks to the activities and great staff, non more so than George, however our room and general hotel quality left me feeling that certain corners had been cut.

Hotel was great, great food well presented, lots of choice. We stayed in family annex. Sea view great. Size of room ideal with sliding room divide. We travelled with Mark Warner. Only moan- not enough sun loungers especially on beach. Broken loungers and parasols laying on beach. This area not managed by hotel staff? Never saw any hotel staff on beach and litter built up around sunloungers. Seemed at odds with the quality of the hotel. Advise wet shoes as very stony at waters edge.

Such a fabulous hotel. The rooms are spacious and super clean and the housekeeping staff really good. The restaurant served excellent choices for breakfast and dinner and there is also a beach bar and fish restaurant on site. Adult pool very calm and relaxing, the children’s pool very good? the beach is also great. It’s fabulous to spend time before and/or after supper at the outside bar with many sofas available for evening relaxation. The staff are amazing and attentive. Local bus service accessible and only an hour from the airport. All adds up to an amazing holiday experience.

We stayed in the hotel during end of june with a family of six. The staff is very nice and helpful. Always with a smile. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are specious and the atmosphere is relaxed. Two big pools with some shade and magnificent beach.

Positives on the holiday. - decent quality tennis courts and padel courts. - Charlotte tennis and Steve padel very good. - breakfast lunch and dinner pretty decent quality, good variety. - waterfront staff first class - great sailing instruction. Had fun padel boarding too. - in-depth snorkelling trip was awesome. Go in the morning when it’s calm. - live photograph were very good, Mae took some great pictures over the week. - Managment, George was a surprise to see from Lemnos, hotel well managed and happy guests. - pools, adult pool was perfectly positioned, quiet. Waterpolo great fun. Entertainment, jersey tones were excellent, as were the singers from SA singing the oldies, quiz was fun. Overall petty decent - small shop next door to get water and supplies. . Negatives. Some of these are out of MW control but for us they are important parts missing from the trip. - no sunset! - missed the wakeboarding - rooms quite small especially the bathrooms. - next to a fairly busy road that can be seen from the restaurant. Lots of coaches going back and forth all day - the old caravan stuck next to the padel courts that could have easily been moved, quite an eyesore. -pebble beach which was tough on the feet, missing the Sandy feel. - jet skis and power boats flying through the sailing area was quite frustrating and verging on dangerous: not long before an accident happens. - bars-missing happy hours at bars was a shame.. bar staff quite serious but cocktails were ok. . - volleyball court was a big cat litter tray. Wouldn’t want to risk putting my feet in there. We won’t be returning to kamari unfort. Was missing the comforts we are used to at Lemnos and other resorts.

Exceptionally helpful reception at this hotel. Vassiliki on reception had organised a fabulous dentist to make a replacement retainer for my son within 48 hours of us arriving as well as efficiently dealing with all other more mundane requests for taxis and room tweaks - thankyou Vassiliki you are amazing!!! Just returned home after a week at the Mark Warner Kamari Beach Hotel and the only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. We had never done a Mark Warner holiday before and didn’t know what to expect but we loved it so much we were already planning our return during the holiday. The staff were amazing, Neil was enthusiastic and supportive with tennis, Chris’s cardio tennis was fun in the mornings with a lot of energy, Steve’s Padel introduction found us a new sport to love and Tim and Nathan were brilliant getting us through bike rides in a heat wave. Food was great, breakfast and evening meal had a lot of options and the staff were lovely. Pools were spotless, never too crowded and perfect on the hot days. Entertainment on the evening was fun and relaxed for all. Was nice to see the hotel management around the hotel and engaging with guests, very personal approach. We were very lucky as the guests at the hotel for our week were great and helped make our holiday what it was. Such a good holiday experience Thank you See you next year!

Fantastic hotel! So many activities and water sports to try with excellent staff who couldn’t do enough for us! The rooms are very lovely. Evening dinner is delicious so many options to chose from. Nighttime entertainment is brilliant! 10/10

I was in this hotel for the first time. Usually the photos do not correspond to reality. However, in this case it is different. The hotel is very cozy but luxurious. The food is delicious. different meals and different world cuisines every day. The hotel staff were very helpful, smiling and friendly. A very successful holiday. I recommend to everyone.
