Poor experience manager is very cut throat and asked staff to make sure wristband was cut off as I was leaving, not sure if this was in fear I would sneak back in or what but just didn’t give you that 5 star feeling and felt as if we were being hunted from the hotel

When we arrived we were told the hotel had overbooked and subsequently had booked us into the hotel next door - the Lindos Princess. They hadn’t told us or the travel company we booked through prior to us leaving the UK, they just booked us into the 4* next door and didn’t refund us the difference. It was gone midnight when we arrived and they didn’t even have enough staff to help us move our luggage next door, we also had our 6 month old baby and all her equipment. No help. The receptionist told us it was an ‘upgrade’ of course it wasn’t as we had booked into a 5* and were moved involuntarily to a 4*. I think this is basically theft. I booked this in March, 6 months ago. We tried to speak to the reception manager the next day and she was very nice but told us this is happening all the time and they have no room for us, we were not the first family this had happened to that week… she wasn’t sure why it was happening and seemed very frustrated with it herself. They would also not issue anything in writing. We were told we could use the facilities but with no room on site, of course we have a baby so that wouldn’t work. 🚩🚩🚩 do not think because you booked here you will stay here, you won’t know for sure until you actually arrive. They will not communicate with you. It is a term called ‘walking’ where the hotel will book you in somewhere else. They will probably keep the highest paid reservations only. If I could give you any advice it would be to avoid this hotel like the plague, especially if you have children, it was a nightmare and I’m having to seek legal help now I’m home.

We had an amazing vacation at Costa Lindia Beach Resort! The resort itself is beautiful with stunning rooms, and the overall experience was fantastic. A special shoutout to Jeno, the bartender at the Aqua Pool Bar, and Anjesa, the bartender at the Beach Bar. Both made our stay extra enjoyable, but Jeno in particular stood out with his professionalism and the delicious cocktails he crafted! The service at the resort was excellent. Whenever we had an issue, we reported it to the reception, and they immediately addressed it. However, there were a few downsides. Every morning around 7:30, the housekeepers would gather outside our room to eat, chat, and watch TikTok, which woke us up earlier than we would have liked. Also, our balcony was never cleaned, leading to an ant infestation, which was a bit of a nuisance. Lastly, the towel service was quite odd – we had to walk across the street to another hotel’s spa to get fresh towels, which was inconvenient. Overall, despite these small issues, we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend the resort for its great service and lovely atmosphere.

Had a great weeks holiday at the Costa Lindia Beach Resort with my family. Booked an upgraded room with swimming pool access. The room did not disappoint as was very modern and had been recently refurbished. A bonus was that the swim up pool bar was opposite. (Room 205). Food during the week was of a very good quality and variety, there are a number of themed restaurants which get booked up quickly online each day. Good variety of drinks & cocktails available and at times you had to wait slightly to be served, but nothing drastic. Overall the hotel was very clean and staff were very friendly especially Tommy from the animations team who made us feel welcome. Location was ideal as slightly quieter area, but only €15 taxi ride to Lindos.( St Paul’s bay is stunning!) Hotel Beach had lots of sun beds available & water sports at an extra cost. Had a blast out on a jet ski for €40 which seemed reasonable. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

Watching the reviews before the trip I was worried that the hotel would not fulfill expectations but it is very ok, maybe not deserving of a strong 5* but nothing to complain about. Our room was small but we didn't mind, we didn't spend much time in it. Lots of sunbeds, yesterday I saw that they bought new sunbeds and umbrellas so there will probably be even more. Food different every day, the only thing that is repetitive is breakfast and the salad bar. There is a very well stocked shop in the hotel. It was the first time our children used the mini club, we have not encountered such cool animations anywhere. The children did something different every day and at the end they did not want to come in from the club. Mrs Magda, who takes care of the children speaks very little German but nevertheless does an excellent job of communicating with the children, they understand each other without words. In the evenings every day a different artistic performance, the animator Tommy super smiling, every day he puzzled us. We had a very successful holiday, with a clear conscience I can recommend this hotel. It is very possible that we will come back here again

Just returned from the Costa Lindia Beach Resort after a 7 night stay. Check in was a bit tedious we were asked for a holiday voucher which we did not have ended up e mailing the TUI confirmation email to the hotel although they knew we were coming , all very odd ! We had booked a junior suite with side sea view, what we were given was a small room with spa & sunloungers, with no outlook when queried with reception we were told it was an upgrade,on refelection we should have requested our original choice as the room was small and pokey no wardrobe just hanging space no drawers, to open the safe you had to get on your hands and knees , the bathroom was small the shower however was excellent but every time we showered the toilet got soaked as it was at the end of the shower again very odd! Food was ok very repetitive 3 themed restaurants didn’t try any as booking was a chore, the pizza at the poolside bar however was excellent. The air conditioning in the main restaurant left a lot to be desired as there were industrial sized air conditioning units scattered that weren’t really effective! Drinks awful lager had an aftertaste cocktails alcohol non existent just not good drinks bar staff shortage especially at the beach bar. Seemed to be enough sunloungers as the beach had plenty, around the swim up pools however they were grabbed pretty early on. 6 bottles of water provided in the fridge however once gone they had to be purchased not good for a 4/5 star hotel €10 per night, government tax on arrival All in all not a 5 star resort 4 at best based on our experience, would not return

My daughter and I have just returned after a relaxing week here. The hotel is very nice. It’s quite spread out and there is no real focal point, however you do work out where you’re walking too etc after a couple of days. We stayed in a swim up room and this was definitely the best feature of the hotel. Our holiday wouldn’t have been as good without it. The food was ok with some variety. All the staff with the exception of the reception staff, were friendly. (Adreina was however lovely) The reception staff most definitely need to go on a customer service training course, rude and arrogant. Made our last day really hard work and frustrating. This hotels clientele was predominantly German, I think we heard 3 English people our whole stay. Overall a nice hotel, with some friendly bar/restaurant staff.

We will try to write a review, as objective as possible. Positive aspects of the hotel: They layout of the hotel as a small Greek village is very nice. The rooms are spread out and it doesn’t feel like one of those big hotels with big buildings. It lays right on the beach which is nice and clear. The swimming pools are quite big, but I can understand that some people feel like they can’t use them as they are in front of the rooms with direct pool access, so you might feel like they are only for them which is not the case. The staff was usually quite friendly, especially at the beach bar which is the one we used the most. Pizzas served for lunch at the pool restaurant were very good. The a la carte restaurants are quite nice, if you manage to book them on the online app that they provide (the process is quite cumbersome). Now, onto the more negative ones: The check in process was a bit strange. You have to fill in an online form before checking in at the counter even if you have all of the paperwork with you. We had to pay the taxes right away and cash only. Usually they appear on the bill at the end of the stay…so if you don’t carry cash with you it could be an issue. Then we were negatively surprised when we were told that to use the safe in the room, we’d have to pay 40 euros. We have never seen this in any other hotel…the safe was always free!! Onto the room now: we had booked a swim up family room with direct pool access. We had been told it would be a renovated room, of course it wasn’t. The room looked like it came out of the 80s’….The “room” for the children are maybe 6 square meters, with no windows (other than a window on the hallway). The AC was leaking onto our daughter’s bed…we gave the information to reception, someone came to check only after a couple of days…looked at it and did nothing…. The beds were hard as rocks, we had to ask for toppers to make them a little more comfortable. And of course the piece of wood underneath was completely rotten due to the leak. The main bedroom was much bigger but also in poor condition. Noisy AC, plugs that were hanging out of the wall. There also, we had notified reception…we saw someone came to check…and again…did nothing about it. The bathroom was just a joke…the shower was so small you could barely turn around in it, the tiles were broken on the floor, the mirrors were also damaged, there was no ventilation at all in the bathroom. It didn’t feel clean at all. The access to the pool was not as shown on the pictures, the room was under ground level and you had to use a stairs to go to the terrace. It wasn’t a big problem for us but it could be for older people or people with small children. The renovate rooms are only a few, they can only accommodate 3 people max. And the renovated pool area with a pool bar is reserved for adult only. That’s all you see from the renovated parts. Lastly, there was regularly a strong smell of sewers in the hallway or even in the room, this was very unpl
