Well we are at the airport after ten days at this hotel The good points 1 hotel is very clean 2 the staff are very friendly especially kostas and satirist that work the breakfast till 3,30 shift they are a credit very welcoming very professional thank you to the both of you The bad points 1 this hotel is very remote it’s a 20 min walk from reception to the main road and another 20 mins to find the first shop from reception to the beach witch is a little pebbled thing is 30 min walk without hiring a car has we had to do you are literally in the middle of nowhere 2 the food is the worst I have ever experienced in a all inclusive hotel I never had one meal were I didn’t have to heat it up in the microwave The desert choice every day was little pots of jelly and fruit cut up into pieces often gone brown I had to ask why there was no bread in the mornings for toss they said only every outer day terrible 3 never before have I been all inclusive were you cannot have a spirt drink until 4 pm only beer coffees and sort drinks till then 4 being so remote you would think they would have entertainment this is none excistant 5 it’s shame the hotel owners do not have there guest interest at heart like there staff do 6 please be aware if you are coming here you will defernatly need to hire a car or you will go stir crazy I am sorry the bad points seem a lot but it’s the truth value for money a big fat no

Well I really honestly don't know where to start I'm afraid ! First of all its more like a 2⭐️ . We understood it was only soft drinks , larger and local wine before 4pm but to then be told we couldn't even buy our own drinks was a shock to say the least ! When it is time to have a spirit it tastes very weak to say the least ! When 9pm comes then it's Cocktail hour 🤣 only 1 flavour of Cocktail so no choice what so ever ! And don't get me started on the "food" beans , like bullets , chips that looked like the day before, and some other stuff that looked awful to say the least ! The staff were ok the best person was " cheers me dears " behind the bar ! We had to move rooms because of a leak in the shower but then discovered a leak in that shower. We knew it was far from anything and thought the shuttle bus ran a few times per day but the only pick up from the beach was at 1pm so only 5 minutes after the last drop to the beach 🤔🤔 I hate to leave bad reviews but I felt the need to especially as you can't even purchase what you want to drink when on the only break you will probably get the whole year 😢

Lovely hotel. Our family paid as a suprise for us for our ruby wedding anniversary. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The food was nice. Our room was great with a pool side view, very clean. Met a lovely employee Eva who was always smiling and very helpful. Would recommend this hotel. We plan to go back again. A big thank you to all staff for making our anniversary extra special ( and letting me decorate our room )

From the moment we arrived in Theologos, to our trip to the hotel, where we were greeted by a lovely staff member, who told us there was a fault with our room, so they graciously sent us to somewhere else while it was being dealt with (not being horrible, I'd of rather not gone to the other place, it did feel dirty) but staff again were lovely. Anyway, the meliton, has lovely & friendly staff, the food (compliments to the chefs) was amazing, always hot, in all fairness, there could be a few more drinks on offer at the pool bar, also, could do with a coffee station or something before breakfast, as no kettle was in the room, the shop was lovely, had a few things in there at time of wanting & needing, the pool was a decent size for a nice quick dip, night time is so peaceful its a lovely sleep! Its 3 star all day long, not too massive & not to small, it's the perfect size! & also, upon leaving, the lovely staff even came out to see us off & gave us a wave! (Also loved the little magnet present after checking out) would come here again!

We stayed in the meliton for 14 nights and we had a lovely holiday. The hotel is in a rural place and you will need a car or be happy to catch a bus or a taxi to get out. Shops and bars are a 20 min walk away. We booked this just for a base as have family on the island so I was not that bothered about the reviews but inhave to say we were pleasantly surprised. Please don't expect to go to the restaurant and expect a huge choice as you won't get that but what you do get is fresh and plenty of it. ( this is the only thing I could say needs a small improvement) only because I don't eat chicken on the bone and fish and most meal time s this is served but I certainly did not starve I've stayed in bigger 4 star all inclusive hotels and have really struggled. This is a small family run hotel that have the very best of staff, the hotel is spotless , the floors are shining . As for some of these reviews I'm a little dumbfounded as the price you pay to stay here you are not going to get the ritz but what you do get is a very clean , quiet relaxing holiday ( no banging music around the pool, no animation team disturbing you but you do get a friendly relaxing holiday) I must clear up one of the reviews of the owner walloping someone in the pool with a net , the pool was closed and a very drunk Polish man jumped in the pool who then threw a ball at the owner who THE OWNER THEN PULLED OUT the said gentleman with the net (did not hit him) and gave him a row then the said man chased the owner. They shouldn't have to put up with this when they are running a business. We will be returning next year without a doubt Thankyou Team Meliton

It was very late when we arrived on the shuttle from the airport and there was a problem with the couple in front of us as the gentleman on reception didn’t know how to operate the card machine, but the lady who welcomed us soon had the situation in hand. The ground floor room to which we were shown came as a bit of a shock as there was hardly anywhere to put anything and there was only about a foot between the end of the bed and the vanity unit, but everything was spotlessly clean. We feel into bed absolutely exhausted and I’m delighted to report that our bed was the most comfortable that I’ve ever slept on (apart from our own), and the pillows were amazing. In the morning, we looked out onto our own little balcony and seating area that looked onto the smaller “relax” pool and sun beds surrounded by palm trees, beautiful flowers and an olive grove beyond which was very pleasant; our shower was easy to operate, although the cubicle was rather small and cramped , but the towels provided were good.. We were “all inclusive”, If you were expecting a normal “full English breakfast” then you would have been disappointed as it was the “Greek take” on it, but I was more than satisfied with the wonderful real Greek yogurt, the most wonderful oranges I’ve ever tasted and genuine Greek honey. My husband was quite satisfied with his “bacon” and eggs. The bread again was Greek, but delicious and my coffee was quite good. All meals were at set times but buffet style, and the food was Greek but tasty and plentiful. The only let down for me was the “locally produced” wines to which there was no alternative and drinks brought in from elsewhere were not permitted in the rooms. I drank the Rose wine but ended our holiday drinking the lager/light Greek beer which was the most acceptable. The proprietor himself, Dimitri and his wife Katerina presided over the on-site mini market which was very well stocked if a tad pricey.. The warm ambient temperature made the solar heated pool feel rather chilly. The pool warning warning and information sign was posted on a fence at the entrance to the pool but were not clearly visible, thus I failed to see it, so wasn’t wearing anything on my feet thus had a job staying upright on the dangerously slippery pool surround. The sun beds unfortunately, were too low down for me so I had a real struggle getting up again, so spent a lot of time on our balcony. Recliner chairs for the less limber would be greatly appreciated! Unfortunately, I had a nasty chest infection and had finished my course of antibiotics on the day of our flight out, consequently my condition deteriorated such that I was ill for our entire holiday, but the staff were absolutely wonderful and did their utmost to help. I even taught them how to make the hot lemon and honey that my mother always gave me when I had bronchitis and has been my “go to” my entire life. Luckily, there’s an endless supply of both lemons and honey on Rhodes! Consequently, I can’t wa

I found the food to be lacking but the amenities themselves were great , nice bar and a small but relaxing pool. There are loads of independent great restaurants just up the road but this hotel may be a bit out of the way if you’re keen to constantly explore Rhodes. Although an easy to follow bus service is available out to the mainland of Rhodes.

Just spent a fantastic week's holiday here at this very friendly and welcoming hotel. Situated in a remote, quiet, and very scenic location in Theologos..it is just the ticket for friends and family. The hotel encompasses sufficient parking space, and has two swimming pools, along with a restaurant and bar area. Staff are very hospitable and friendly..service is carried out with a smile . Rooms have everything needed to make your stay comfortable and create a homely feel. Entertainment provided twice weekly..my daughter and I had such fun at the karaoke. Also, the resident cat guests were an added bonus, if you're a cat lover. Would definitely consider returning. Many thanks.
