Sunny Days Hotel

This was our third year staying here and possibly our last. The room was big and very spacious but there was no plates, glasses or cutlery in the kitchen area, apparently wine glasses aren’t safe to have in hotel rooms, we asked for some and was told that they don’t supply them as they want you to spend money in there restaurant. People putting towels on beds at 7.30am wasn’t questioned so I had to get up at 8.30am at the latest to get a sun loungers. There is plenty of room around the pool for more beds to be placed. I suggest buying plastic pint pots for around the pool because the price for a pint glass at the bar area and a small plastic cup for around the pool area is the same €6. We had to buy our own toilet roll as we were only given 2 for a 10 night stay. The reception staff were all lovely and always smiling and helpful.

Beautiful hotel that is well run with thee most attentive staff. Im a bit late in posting this as intended to but had a flash back on the most warming experience. PROS = Joanna, Bimod, Lilia, Katerina and Veronica are an asset and made my stay absolutely pleasant with just the smallest thing - kindness, which I will never forget. They care, are well trained in customer service and went above and beyond, not only for me but all the hotel guests that I witnessed during the course of my 5 day stay. CONS - Due to inaccurate bookings between the hotel selling their rates to third parties, I was charged an incorrect levy despite me having proof. I was threatened to either pay or be thrown out. No matter the length of explanation/ proof and phonecall, this was dealt with extremely poorly. The customer should never be caught inbetween such issues and could have been dealt with differenly. That aside, I would highly recommend this hotel.

I was moved to this hotel as the one I booked was closed, so I have to say I did not choose this hotel. It's pleasant and some of the staff are nice but on the whole they were not welcoming only the reception staff. Firstly the pictures shown do not reflect the reality. Our room had a few issues mainly one of the air con units didn't work and they never fixed it, room wasn't cleaned whilst we were there and towels only changed once, shower didn't work properly and the doors didn't close fully, the food is cold and very limited only 6 hotplates to choose from 2 being pasta and sauce every night, the jacuzzi doesn't work, the pool is freezing, the drinks are watered down and my husband actually saw them doing this! cocktails are poor quality and the snack bar is non existent just a few things left over from breakfast, not hot and not fresh, we ate out a few times due to this which was an extra cost, the coffee machine breaks and there is no hot chocolate ever, the juice machine was broken a lot. The buffet is in a restaurant that is also open to public and it can get busy had to wait for table for breakfast and the food others ordered from the menu was all hot and fresh. The pebble beach is across a busy road, there is bus stop nearby and bus to old town is 20 mins and €2.50. Overall I wasn't satisfied but it wasn't the hotel or location I chose but I wouldn't stay again and for what I paid for the holiday it is a little disappointing but Love Holidays aren't doing much to rectify. Also in our room if you pressed the "do not disturb" button a noise came from the electrical box, the shower didn't work very well and was sometimes luke warm, we stayed in block 4 which needs renovating, the reception area looked like it had a bar but its not used, this is not a 4* hotel and I would not recommend paying for all inclusive as you will be disappointed. There are no cocktails in nice glasses like the pictures, don't be fooled!
