Was amazing, the food, pools, staff.. everything

Before I arrived at the hotel in Rhodes I had read quite a few reviews on here and was honestly quite concerned given what people had written about the hotel. However, having spent an amazing week at this hotel, I really couldn’t see the faults that people were seeing. The staff were amazing, hard working, always busy trying to help and clean up and make our stay great. The hotel room was large and airy, great air con which was needed as it was extremely hot!! The room was cleaned daily - it is worth noting that there are buttons just inside the door to switch on/off to ask either ‘do not disturb’ or ‘please clean’. We didn’t see this the first couple of days and the room wasn’t cleaned or towels changed, but as soon as we worked out the buttons, the room was cleaned and towels changed daily. I think perhaps for people who commented that the room wasn’t cleaned may not have known about this feature. The bathroom was large with both a shower and bath. We stayed in a swim up room in the relax area with two massive pools and that was a game changer. To be able to walk out of your room and plop straight into the water was amazing and I thoroughly recommend it if you can afford it. There are loads of sun beds around the areas, we always found some. The food choice and variety at the hotel blew me away, such choice and diversity, they have theme nights with different foods alongside the staples like Greek salad and chips! They have a great selection of breads and salads, freshly cooked veg, it’s all great and I never had trouble choosing! The all inclusive drinks are fine, I particularly enjoyed the mojitos! Whilst I didn’t travel with children I can totally see the appeal of the hotel for families - there is always something going on for children - if your staying with kids stay in the activity area, it’s literally a two min walk from our relax area. Your choice of swimming pools is immense and they all are fairly shallow. Our pool in the relax area was like walking into the sea, no steps into the water, just a steady dip. I would 100% return - thank you to the whole Atlantica team for a fabulous stay. P.s I am an independent traveller - this is a real review.

We stayed at this beautiful resort for 9 days, The food from start to finish was amazing always so much choice each evening meal had a different theme and never disappointed . If there are reviews saying they didn’t like the food they must be the fussiest people out there because there really was something for everyone. You are greeted at the doors and shown to a table and I must say all staff are so lovely and friendly and make such an effort. There are also three restaurants you can chose from on site to have 1 free meal at but you can go as much as you like if you’re happy to pay, the Greek was our choice and it definitely did not disappoint. There’s also a noodle bar, snack bar and ice cream parlour if you don’t fancy the main restaurant every lunch time. Pools- so many areas to choose from you have the activity side if you want to be around the afternoon entertainment, slides, pool party's and many more, but it’s really not that loud you can relax either side. Then you go under this pathway which connects you to the relax side which has a swim up bar and a food truck which is run by the most amazing lady and she serves everything. Every morning the pool areas and hotel are cleaned and Scrubbed. The cleaners really worked hard every day to keep this resort tidy and I must say there are some lazy people who just throw rubbish and leave cups I understand you’re on holiday but come on have some respect. My daughter loved the evening shows and dancing all night the workers really do put there all in. You had a wide range of inclusive drinks from aperols,cocktails,beers. In the Irish bar my daughter loved her range of mocktails. And finally we got the upgrade of dreams, a villa with a private pool and this was just amazing we had treats delivered in the afternoons, I can’t thank who ever made this happen enough because it really did top this already amazing holiday off and we felt so lucky. Our standard rooms were still lovely with a great view . I just want to say thank you to every staff member who works here as they all work so hard and are still smiling.

We have returned from a fantastic holiday and the children are still talking about it. If you visit,please attend the burger van with Debbie, she’s a Rhodes treasure. Always happy and brilliant with the kids. Her big mouth burger is a household name now. They thoroughly enjoyed stage academy with The fabulous kitty and Millie. Both were amazing with the kids. The HV entertainment staff were also wonderful.

The world’s best burger by Debbie. Better than McDonalds, Burger King and Five Guys. Atlantic Holiday Village have an amazing employee in Debbie. Her service is always with a smile and sh is a super lady. If your staying over the summer come and see her by the Relax pool

A truly 5 star experience with 5 star food and 5 star staff. Food:- Anyone who says the food is bad here needs to stay in the UK and enjoy your KFC because you don’t deserve the amazing fresh and delicious food these guys prepare. Food was amazing, best AI I’ve ever been to food wise and I enjoyed every single meal. Entertainment:- Huge team of entertainers who highly motivated and engaging. Special shout out to the kids club team for going the extra mile every single day. Pools:- Lost count how many there are but it’s a lot. They are great and clean and well maintained. Don’t believe the hype about no sun beds, you may not get a group right outside your room every day but there’s plenty even in peak season. Accommodation:- Not huge rooms but more than adequate, a little tired in places but still very comfy beds and perfect for our needs. Staff:- I’ve left the staff till last but every section refers to them because every person we interacted with wanted to please.. the kindest most hospitable and fun group of staff we have ever met. It is a credit to the management that they have created an environment where the staff obviously enjoy coming to work. I never go back to same holiday resort ever… Until now… see you in 2025

This was our second visit and even better than the last time! The hotel is fabulous and the food is stunning! Such a wide choice and different every night. The staff are really helpful and clearly enjoy what they do. Loads of activities for both adults and children. I had several treats at the spa too. Fabulous range of treatments and lovely friendly staff. Would highly recommend the massages with Catherin, she was great and Angela is such a beautiful and friendly person. A great experience which is always an added bonus to our holiday at this wonderful resort….and there’s no excuse as the ladies walk around during the day to remind you to treat yourself! I hope to see you all again soon!

What a stay so far !! Lizette's customer service and attention to detail is making our holiday super special !! The owner at the cosmopolitan restaurant works relentlessly to deliver happiness to all his diners - Special thanks to Vera at the Italian ! Amazing gluten free food!! and Dino at the Deluxe swimming pool for bringing happiness everyday !!!

This hotel is average. Not 5 star! The food is average at best and the rooms are not cleaned thoroughly. There were only a couple members of staff that were friendly and chatty and the rest were there to just do the job and keep their head down. The nightly entertainment was awful and the alcohol was so cheap I felt no effects at all (after plenty of drinks!) I had high expectations after booking this hotel especially after the price I payed and I do not feel it was worth the money at all. I took my 11 month daughter here on her first holiday and she was bitten so much I had to get her cot changed. Im unsure if it was due to bed bugs or mosquitos as the hotel tried to charge me £200 to see a doctor for confirmation! We also had a late flight home leaving the hotel at 18.00hrs so I asked if I could extend the room for a few more hours past check out time (11.00hrs) so that my daughter could still nap throughout the day as it was too hot anywhere else but this was not possible unless I payed an extra €20p/h! I would not stay at this hotel again and honestly think it would be pushing 3 stars.
