It was dark when we arrived at 10.30pm. The check in was easy with one member of staff carrying our cases across the road, up a steep hill and into our apartment. We were very impressed with the apartment which was clean, plenty of room, nice clean shower and toilet, comfortable bed and a big balcony with sea views (although it was dark so not much to see). All seemed well and we thought we had a bargain with this hotel However, we were woken up at 8am (and every morning at 8am) with the sound of hammering, disk cutters, JCBs, and lots of work men. I looked out from my balcony to see a building site. The hotel next door (Palm bay hotel) is having a full face lift! Not only the hotel, but also the accommodation across the road, up the steep hill and right next to our apartment. The noise is consistent and goes on until upto 9 o'clock at night. This did affect the quality of our holiday which was a shame because the coralli hotel was very good. The staff were excellent, it's very clean, the food is absolutely delicious and the prices are reasonable. A nice pool area (but we always went to the beach to get away from the noise next door). Easyjet never notified us of any construction work and it will go on for another 6 weeks ( should be completed by middle June). We paid £20 for the safe. A bus stop right outside the hotel which costs £2 to Lindos or a taxi £15. I would have given the Coralli 10/10 if it wasn't for the construction work.
