Lindos Blu Luxury Hotel-Adults Only

From the minute we arrived we knew we were in for a wonderful holiday. On arrival, we had one of the warmest greetings ever to a hotel from Michalis and the girls from the front desk. Our Junior Suite was super comfortable, spotlessly clean and as the hotel is set on a cliff, had the most gorgeous view over the sea and the stunning bay. Every member of staff is at your service and nothing is too much trouble in the friendliest but professional of ways. Giorgio in the bar is the character of the hotel and at 20 years old, is wise and funny beyond his years and the mixologist was fantastic and drinks were ordered and delivered very quickly. The food is of an exceptional standard and with so much variety, you are spoilt for choice. You access the gorgeous, blue flagged beach by a series of lifts and then you can be delivered by a golf buggy to the top of the beach where you have to negotiate a slight hill and steps to get onto it, which isn’t too hard. Once there, you can flop on a sunbed that has one of the most sumptuous mattresses we have ever laid on. It’s also easy to enter the beautifully clear water and warm water (dependent on the time of year). The hotel is close to the village of Lindos itself and there are some fantastic restaurants there. Almyra at the harbour was so good, we ate there twice. We ventured out to Hakari and the Costas and Elena restaurant, which was a real find, full of locals and repeat customers. Lardos had the restaurant L’Artos, owned by a passionate chef and his wife, that produced inspired food. I could go on and on but seriously there are not enough superlatives for this hotel. Congratulations to all the team at the Lindos Blu, you all deserve recognition and we had the best time ever. Thank you and we’ll see you next year.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lindos Blu; it exceeded our expectations in every way. The hotel is dramatically situated above the bay just north of Lindos, with rooms cascading down to a lovely beach shaded by pine trees. Our room had a fabulous view with a wonderfully spacious balcony and a small pool. It was a tough call where we wanted to spend each day: On our terrace, by the hotel's copious main pool, or on the hotel beach, which was great for swmiming. What really made the Lindos Blu special was the staff, who went out of their way to be welcoming and to see to all of our needs. We've rarely been treated so well in all of our travels. The Lindos Blu is a total class act. We were a bit lukewarm about the island of Rhodes, but we'd return there just to stay at this hotel once again.
