This was the second time we have been to Mayia and was so amazing and we can't wait to come back again. The hotel is wonderful, very clean, adults only gives it a wonderfully chilled ambience, plenty of top quality food options, lovely pools and now an improved beach are and bar since our previous visit. Having said all that the best thing about Mayia is certainly the people which makes such a difference when comparing 5* hotels. Everyone, enthusiatically wants to make your stay the best it can be and nothing seems to just be their job to them. Top mention goes to Valantis in the pool area. Working non-stop taking drinks orders and delivering to your area, nothing is too much trouble and always in a wonderful, jovial mood. Valantis has been here both years we have visited and not sure it would be the same without him. Another special mention to Giannis in concierge who was very helpful before we arrived and whilst here to secure the restaurants we wanted on each day and at a time to suit our other plans. Again nothing felt like an inconvenience and he evidently wanted to help. Thanks to all the staff at Wasabi, Al dente and Thymari. Such wonderful teams who looked after us during our meals. And finally thank you to Francesca at Oinos who was always smiling and keeping the bubbles flowing before we could even find the bottom of the glass. We hope to see you all again soon. Antony & Nikki

A lovely hotel with very friendly staff - as you'd expect for a 2 star it isn't the best place in Greece but it's perfect for those who expect to be out and about constantly. We used it as a place to sleep and have a few dirnks whilst getting ready and it was great: the staff couldn't have been more helpful giving us a key fob so we could come in late at night, offering us free drinks and booking us taxis

So me and my brother flew in from England and stayed the week here, I booked before I looked at reviews then when I saw them i obviously panicked and thought it was gonna be a sh*T show, thankfully it was way better than expected. Firstly the location is great, 10 min walk from old town and the bus station where it costs €5 to go to lindos etc, sea a minute away, plenty of shops and restaurants around. The staff are very friendly and no extra fees were pushed on us, the room was clean, sure a bit of peeled paint was on the walls (not shocked due to humidity of Rhodes) but it was clean and nice. The room was cleaned 4 times in our 7 night stay and we enjoyed our visit, will definitely be staying again. I think some people pay for 2* and expect 5* lmao. For a 2* hotel it was way better than expected.

Spent my first holiday in seven years at this hotel in Rhodes, and I am very happy with the choice I made. Booked it through Jet2 on a bed-and-breakfast package; it's a 3*, so I wasn't expecting super-duper-luxurious, and that was fine. It's a great base. The location is on a quietish one-way street with lovely buildings lining it - I caught all the springtime blooms, which was very pretty. It's near a number of local restaurants, so you're spoilt for choice when looking for good lunch and dinner options. It's five to eight minutes' walk down to that beautiful seafront, and it's also at a central point where you can walk to the magnificent harbour and Old Town in about ten minutes. The rooms are basic, but clean. The breakfast buffets are unspectacular, but widely varied and tasty, and will set you up for the day. The pool area is quite nice - the pool itself is pretty decent, and it's a good spot to catch the sun on the loungers. Only downside is that the sides of the hotel are a bit of a wind-trap, so the loungers by the ends of the pool get a fair bit of breeze. Best of all, I had great service. I suffered the misfortune of my mobile phone breaking (which, in this day and age, can cause a ton of problems), and the reception staff were nothing but friendly, helpful, and resourceful in helping me book tours or finding my way around. I plan to go back to Rhodes at some point, to see all the stuff I missed. If I'm still on a budget by that time, I will most certainly choose the Downtown Angela again.

Lots of shops and restaurants nearby.
Spacious clean rooms with a balcony. Daily change of towels. Great, helpful and always smiling staff at the reception. I would highly recommend it

Great find, didn’t stay we just had breakfast. We were forced in by the rain on our way to the beach, doesn’t look like much from the outside really but it’s great breakfast! British style bacon, fresh orange juice, HP sauce, generous with the butter and top up your tea and coffee for free without asking. The staff are friendly and although we haven’t been into the bar it does look very well stocked and clean.

JJezza for lifeI recently had the pleasure of staying at the 10GR Boutique Hotel & Wine Bar, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The service at this hotel was top-notch; the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. They were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and attentive. Their warmth and hospitality truly made me feel welcome.
The facilities at the hotel were excellent as well. The room I stayed in was tastefully decorated, clean, and well-maintained. I appreciated the attention to detail in every aspect of the room's design. The common areas of the hotel were also lovely and had a charming ambiance.
Now, let's talk about the food – it was a highlight of my stay. The breakfast offered at the 10GR Boutique Hotel & Wine Bar was simply exceptional. The variety of options and the quality of the dishes exceeded my expectations. Each morning, I eagerly looked forward to starting my day with the delicious spread they provided. It was evident that they put a lot of effort into creating a delightful breakfast experience for their guests.

GGuest UserFantastic hotel. Would stay here again without any hesitation. The all inclusive food was superb and the best we have ever had (including restaurants) the room with private pool was brilliant, spacious and light. Well stocked mini bar!! My only slight observation would be that some of the hotel needed a bit of minor cosmetic attention (cracks in glass etc) and room housekeeping (sometimes hair and fluff left on floor) but this did not detract from the quality of the overall stay. There were quite a few children around and other reviews suggest plenty for kids to do, however we didn’t take our children on this short stay but believe they may have been slightly bored if they had come along - besides a small pool / slide and play area there did not seem a lot for children. Please keep in mind we were not specifically looking as we were child free so this is not a criticism . Booking of restaurants is essential - download the mitsis app which was a godsend! It features all restaurant menus and concierge so you can add extras. . Super impressed with the hotel!

FFranciscoThe location is amazing, in a quiet corner of Vlycha beach, where it feels calmer and relaxing. It's also conveniently located at 10-min drive to Lindos town. The beach is just 3 mins away on foot. The hotel is very modern, has a new feel, very minimalistic which we like very much. This is an adult-only hotel which we prefer, so we really had more serene mood. Breakfast is fantastic, a lot of variety so we didn't get bored within the 5 days we were there. Dinner at one of the restaurants (Agistri) was great, the service was nice. The hotel also allowed us to check out late at 1pm (standard is 11am), which was nice because we booked a facial treatment at the spa at 1030am on day of check out because it was the only available one that morning. The shower was working perfectly, with a view of the pool and the sea. Our private pool was always clean and looks new. Housekeeping staff was also very friendly and did proper clean up.
Opportunities to improve on:
1. The butler was not friendly at all, which is disappointing as he was the first person to greet guests at the lobby. We arrived at the front with our rental car, and he didn't even greet. He was quite aggressive when we asked where to park the car, and he simply pointed wherever vacant spot on the street we see. He was also responsible to walking us to our room with the luggage upon check in, and that was a few minutes of awkwardness too.
2. The check-in was a bit clumsy. Although the reception lady was really nice, he assisted us to check in via the hotel app (which we first had to download). That took some time when it was possible to simply check us in the normal way. I understand that the hotel wants to push the app to guests, but perhaps best to check in the normal way first THEN ask us to download the app afterwards. This way, it doesn't feel like: if we don't download the app, we cannot check in. Because in the end, we find the app helpful. We were in Lindos town one afternoon, and reserved our massage and dinner at the hotel via the app while there.
3. The room phone line did not function the whole time we were there. We reported it on day one, nothing happened. We had some questions that the app couldn't answer, and we always have to go to the reception to ask little questions, like how much the bottle of wine in the room costs, or if it's possible to do late check out.
4. One one night, we hang out at the pool bar and there was only one service staff. We had to wait for about half an hour to get our drinks, and he only passed by once to say it's coming though we can see the bar and no one is preparing anything.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and the value for money is worth it. We will come back again and recommend.

GGuest UserYes, the personnel is kind and helpful, the breakfast is not qualitatively great but they seem to struggle to diversify it, the room service is great, they regularly change everything, but.. You cannot plan your hotel with the washbasin inside the sleeping rooms because you projected the so called bathrooms to measure two square meters and you wanted the whole place to match 10-15 square meters in order the proprietor to earn double than normal. These are rooms for cats and dogs, not for humans. Unfortunately there is nothing to improve regarding this issue. Maybe if you break the wall between two rooms and make a normal one.. Three stars due to the good personnel and service only.

GGuest UserThe hotel is clean and well maintained and the staff are helpful and friendly. We didn't eat in the bar so I can't comment on the food but it looked good and plentiful if a little overpriced! Be aware though that almost EVERYTHING is an extra so budget quite a bit more if you want to use sunbeds, air conditioning or wifi. We didn't as the costs were outrageous. We had a Superior Studio apartment and the beds were very comfortable and the room cleaned daily. We didn't find any of the 'complimentary' toiletries which they advertise although we had a lovely but empty liquid soap dispenser! The shower is really good and would be better if the shower screen had been bigger. They do supply a squeegee for you to remove all the water that sprays all over the bathroom floor. The shower has a fixed head and can't be adjusted and there is a switchable hand shower head for squirting your 'bits'. A good hair dryer is provided. The biggest deal-breaker for us was that in no way was it a fully equipped self-catering apartment. There is NO KETTLE, NO TOASTER and very little of anything else in the way of kitchen equipment. A coffee peculator is provided which is useless (and I stress useless) for making tea. If you want to self-cater, the very reason we booked this hotel, don't bother booking here. You will be very disappointed. If you want to eat out there are many very good restaurants within very short walking distance. You'll be lucky to get breakfast before 10:30 AM though. If you are a light sleeper then think about what it would be like sleeping within one meter of your fridge compressor turning on and off all night long. The balcony is far from private and ours had only a view of an orange tree which was sprayed with chemicals (I assume) every couple of days! It was right next to the walkway to all the other apartments which is great if you want to meet everyone while you're trying to eat your boiled egg and no toast breakfast washed down with lukewarm tea! All in all we had a great time in Rhodes and this hotel could so easily be made to be perfect but sadly I really think they are more interested in taking money than providing a comfortable self-catering holiday experience. Still gave them an above average score though for all the good reasons stated above but we won't be staying there again for all the many bad reasons. Be sure to check out the Royal bar just round the corner. The food is wonderful, the owner and staff are fantastic and the prices reasonable. A bit further on is the San Allotte restaurant which is equally good (maybe better) but more expensive.

PPat WWe area family of 7 occupying 4 rooms. Clean Hotel. Lovely staff. Food average. Hotel is in a good location. Started the week as a 5* but dropped to a 3.5/4* from the 19/06/24 due to an International conference being held in the hotel. Every public space has been taken over to the detriment of the paying guests. It's organised chaos. Space at pool area reduced, witnessed a disabled lady refused use of an unoccupied chair as it was for use of conference diners. At one point I had to lay on floor by the pool due to lack of beds, not good when you are 70. Have to walk from pool through reception which has become a buffet area. Unable to provide a late check out room due to conference, although will provide a room with shower later on for us, but nowhere to nap. Would have booked different hotel if we'd have known about conference at time of booking. Put a damper on our holiday and 70th birthday celebrations.

GGuest UserVery good hotel, clean, nice rooms and really good breakfast. The staff was always friendly and Vicky was very helpful and nice always with a smile. The hotel is good for old and young People and is close to the center wich is nice. I will visit the hotel again.

Return visit This is the second time we have stayed at Lindian Village our first visit being around five years ago. And as we expected it was just as nice as the first visit. We don't really understand some reviews saying that the food is bad because it isn't. The breakfast is really good with a big variety of dairy products and cold cuts. There are more than 10 different fresh fruits on the buffet. We preferred to have lunch by the pool and not at the main restaurant because we wanted to be under the Greek sun as much as we could. As for the evening menu the food is exceptional and the buffet had many options. We could see that everyone at the hotel from the cleaners to the managers is welcoming, friendly hardworking & helpful. We would like to mention Yiannis at the main restaurant, a really professional and experienced guy.

Fantastic hotel and brilliant staff. Helped us out massively when we were turned away at another hotel that we had pre booked with due to no availability. Upon requesting to book, the staff were really helpful, efficient and overall good customer service. In addition, great food, pool and general atmosphere. The area is quiet and family friendly. The beach is close and it’s only half an hour to Rhodes which is beautiful, both times the hotel staff helped us with taxi bookings as well as any other information we needed. Highly recommend 👍🏻

I will start with positives staff are so friendly and nice, the food was as expected for all inclusive but well stocked i always went to what ever was being freshly cooked like omelettes or pancakes in morning, usually a meat with some gravy lunch and dinner but kids had whatever was on offer and didn’t complain, I would recommend going before 9am for breakfast as for some reason it gets really busy at 9am and will struggle to get a table, but tables were cleared by staff instantly so never had wait more than few moments, go lunch at 12 as similar and gets very hot we were very lucky to of always managed to get table at back which had doors that opened letting in a lovely breeze. The room was a bit dated for a 4* but adequate as only really slept in it and had air con and a fridge to store water, the water park is great kids loved it, evening entertainment that we went to was really good, we saw the back street boys tribute band and some opera singers. Daytime was good the animation team worked tirelessly water aerobics was fun, and water polo various games always going on. I think the only negative is the layout of hotel as seems to be constantly walking and only 1 bar in evening in main hotel when the entertainment was over the other side and which always had a queue it does state only 1 drink per person but we always got 2 at a time never had a issue. But daytime at snack bar pool was fine as had 2 bars so never had wait that long. But my biggest issue was the bed’s in room 307 in main building are so hard they did give us toppers which helped so ask if have same issue or upgrade room as when saw room across from us had big comfy looking sofa and lovely view I wish we had upgraded. Glad we only booked 7 days i think 2 weeks would of got really tiresome with all the walking, Rhodes old town was amazing we went most days and has a gorgeous little sandy cove, we also went on a sunset cruise with argo which was the highlight of holiday. Everyone is so friendly loved Rhodes will definitely come back.
